To all the kids that missed out on wearing ridiculously wide leg jeans with deep pockets for days, you also have my condolences. I'm pushing 50, but I would love to see the whippersnappers bring back JNCO fashion! Fashion runs in cycles. It's due.
The sounds from the Home counties of Yorkshire, England led the way before the the Madcaster scene came along. I would love a DJ to drop this at an EDM party these days! This is real rave Music...
I would like to add to your great comments on this track...in fact to me this track is the essence of acid music, I know there are more but this one stands out to me....51yrs old now......still love the vibe. mad mad mad mad....
Loved the part with the kids saying yeah...e yeah...e yeah, felt like it was me and my sibs with my dad playing it, we would sing it and he would chase us around the house 😂👌🏽crazy memories and I love it!! 💙
Club 4 ! ! ! LMFAO,what a den of iniquity that gaff was,Sunny Halebank 😂😂,remember being in there one night off my tits on something or other and someone let a dog lose onto the dance floor 😂😂😂
This takes me back to The Roxy NYC when they still had the swing over the dancefloor and La Palace de Beaute' aka The Underground on 14th St in Union Square.
GTO are still on my favorites oldskool rave groups. ''Pure'', ''Listen to the rhythm flow'', ''Elevation'', ''love is everywhere'', too many oldskool techno anthems, also their other aliases ''Technohead'', ''John + Julie'', ''Sings of chaos'' and of course ''tricky disco''. They just ruled early 90's, in their own unique way.
@@kaba1996 It is the capital letters of ''Greater Than One''. It is the electronic act duo of Lee Newman and Michael Wells better known as GTO in the early 90's, but also had some other projects/monikers as well, as Tricky Disco, Technohead, Signs of chaos, John and Julie......ect. GTO are one of the best oldskool rave groups. ''Tricky disco'' here is one of their earlier tracks.
I LOVE this group and label. Death ended their career way too early. This again a Label imprint and group that took their time to sonically push the mastering to its limits. Big sound system please. oh.. and all of them so far are pitched up a bit. especially "Pure" I still have these on vinyl and they still rock. very original even for the Acid House days. Thank you!
can dig the b side, with the gregorian chant, past ticky's bedtime mix, add, this is tricky, tricky disco and tricky to it, only the real heads get up to dance to this one
In our days we had 'this is tricky'...... youth not of our time had crazy frog! See the worthiness in our gatherings and rejoice in such acid house anthems!
