I bid 4H to show the AH on board 5 with diamond slam and the robot passed leaving me in 4H with a 4-2 trump fit. Made 4H for 14%. When the system said 4H showed the ace of hearts I assumed it was a cue bid but unfortunately the robot passed.
Yeah it showed AH and description said 3-5 diamonds also, was perplexed when they passed. I'd play 4H there as not showing AH just confirming a good hand with diamond fit
1. Your 3NT bid goaded a spade lead which completely changes the complexion of the hand. The rest of us got a heart lead and it is down on normal play. 4. I was obviously wrong to pass here, thinking that aces and spaces was bad. I actually out-declared you on 6/7 but did not get the ruff and discard on 8.
