Hi guys! This is my first tutorial! Its been a long time coming and I finally decided to do it! I hope you all enjoy. A little bit about me: I've been using Trish since a little before the end of Vanilla. My good friend Rob recommended I use her and I've loved her ever since! Perhaps more in the future? :)
Also, thanks to Larry (Mr. Hungry Human himself), Wolverine-Master, Haz, Ninjay, BrolyLegs, Ricki and Rob. Great friends and great inspiration. And last, but not least, Phil. My biggest help ever.

Ever since Vanilla I've enviously watched Trish players in action wanting to do what they can but I simply didn't know how she worked. I really want to thank you for the extremely helpful guide.

A great video. Really useful new combos and techniques I'm going to try! Been with Trish since Vanilla came out. She's so agile and has good keep away. Thank you for making this vid. Side note: Some of the combos that ended with the round trip relaunch can be ended with Air Hopscotch then to Air Max Voltage for some extra damage. :3

Great idea to have "here's a good button" and then prove it by showing it hitting in a situation in an actual match. A lot of tutorials will just have people throw out wild claims like, "Oh, this is the best crouch H in the game." without a lot to back up that statement. Also, my favorite Round Harvest setup isn't a high/low, it's tag in C.Viper, call Chun-li Lightning Legs, and just charge focus in their face while the assist and scythe keep them from doing anything =)

Started running Trish, Nova, Task as my main. I'd love to train with you. I played Trish in Vanilla but dropped her towards the end. Now im picking her back up lol. Awesome tutorial by the way

Jeanatte Salazar Does Trish have any other elements to her mobility? Since I can't play stick I have to use the 360 pad instead so trying to tri-dash is a lot less easier than it should be to me.

***** Her ground plink dash has pretty good speed. I would still recommend you try to learn tri-dashing. Not just for Trish. A few in the cast benefit from it. I don't play on pad, so I really can't judge the difficulty.

Jeanatte Salazar I'm trying to learn everything that you showed x) The difficulty of not having a stick is just basically trying to input down back and you get a accidental backwards srk or something like that. :/ I'll get around to having a stick eventually.

Thanks! I would say make sure you're at the right height at the start of the infinite and keep practicing. I personally started with the down TAC and then practiced up and side from there.

I may in the future. I honestly did not anticipate the reactions to this one. I'm definitely thankful for it. If I do, I'm thinking about doing other characters on my main team (Chris/Hawkeye), but I also want to learn MODOK and Firebrand.

Hi Ryan, make sure that if you use M -> Stiletto Kick, you time the M low to the ground. This is how I get that combo to work. I personally use L -> Stiletto Kick or just do the double jump or dash M, H combos simply because of that factor that the relaunch causes you to get crossed-up.

Sorry for the late reply. Personally I would order the team Dante/Trish/Vergil mostly so you can DHC to Round Harvest and hard tag Dante back in. Also I would suggest Jam Session as opposed to Crystal. Trish w/ Jam Session is very effective. As far as tips, just work on maximizing dash output on her solo combos and work on her XF3 loops. Hope that helps.

At the end of the combos I cant use fly ,low voltage and max voltage. Am I doing wrong or is this the sequence?

I really like this video Since i decided to pick up Trish. It's got a lot of info and no doubt the best Trish information on RU-vid. Good Stuff. One question though. How do you consistently do the tac infinite I always get to about 3 reps then they are too low for my M to hit.

You're right, depending on location, Max. Voltage damage can vary. What I'll do when I have some time is go through and add annotations during each combo. Hopefully it will help. I don't think I do, but thanks. I'll take it! Thanks for watching! :)

Good video, Miss. Salazar. Question: How exactly do you pull off the multiple air dash during air raid with Trish? I have L+M set as a button I use for wavedashing/Hyper Combos, but I can't seem to execute consecutive dashes in mid-air. Any help/tips would be appreciated

Use plink dashing press H then L+M might need practice

Thank you! To answer your question, its just a matter of knowing the timing of when you're able to dash in jump state. So I just super jump, and two button dash. Sorry, not sure how else to explain ^^;

Walking back provides you enough space so that when the missles come down, the blade will hit. You have to eyeball the distance (at least that is what I do). Make sure that when you TK Max Voltage you're as low to the ground as possible. I've honestly never tried it without the TK, but I will tonight. :)

In the combo first BnB, starting at 5:38, I'm having a really hard time with the forward jump L after the peekaboo. My opponent keeps coming out of hitstun before I can connect the L. Any tips?

+soulshade You can press L right after the jump. I think its a matter of finding the timing. :)

Very nice tutorial, been running team yipes, but with this I can finally level up my Trish and run team DMC. I know Max voltage can have random damage, could you possibly put up numbers. Also has anyone told you, you sound like Trish from the actual DMC games? :)

Nice video! For the combo at 13:07, after landing and call Doom, tk Max Voltage, I have problems letting the opponent fall onto the top of round trip. I noticed in another one of your videos with the same combo, you mentioned walk back, then call Doom. Is the tk of the max voltage necessary, do I want do be doing this fast or slow?

I would say 1st or 2nd is a very appropriate slot for her. I place her 2nd on my main team (keep away team) and 1st on my secondary team. I personally feel she's not as strong as other characters as an anchor, but she can make do with what she's got. Problem with her on point is that she doesn't do a ton of damage (compared to other characters), so best to keep her 2nd to extend combos after DHC'ing to Round Harvest. Did that help? Let me know!

Excellent tutorial! I was wondering if you've seen Andre's (FC/EMP/Twisted Jago) tutorial on Trish (his youtube channel is: Anieseus). His is a very quick/brief couple of tutorials compared to yours, and just wanted to know if you think there is anything he says, that is worth elaborating/expanding on? OR if you feel that between your 2 tutorials there is enough knowledge to know how to play her?

What is Trish's primary role on a team? I generally see her placed second, but her assist doesn't seem good enough (compared to missles and drones) to keep her in that position. Are the unblockables with round harvest a bnb are what keep her in the second position, or is it just because she doesn't really excel in point or anchor?

This was really cool. I've always found Trish's double jump to be really awkward to combo with, which is probably the main reason why I never played her. One thing, you mention that her j.S is useful but it seems like j.H has a similar hitbox, but is also cancellable. When would you use j.S as a starter?

I love Trish. I love this guide. I love you for making this. One question: How do you do the OTG Max Voltage so close to the ground T_T I can't seem to do it without fully jumping or coming down from an air combo. (If you use an arcade stick, telling me your movements would be greatly appreciated ) :3

Thanks! I hope it helps you! I use a stick and the motion is just a tiger knee motion (d to uf). I come from MvC2 days and I used Cable, so I got pretty familiar with keeping low to the ground. I would just keep practicing. ^^

Exactly right, Just input the max voltage like normal, except you keep going past forward to up forward, which will jump trish in the air, when you press the two attack buttons to initiate max voltage it will occur in the air. The game sort of lets the improper input count anyway.

Almost everytime i do air m, stilleto kick,(land) l, m, h, low voltage xx maximum voltage, they usually drop out after the st. L. Anything I'm doing wrong?

Hey, Awesome vid. In fact I'm downloading it. But there is one problem I've been having is doing her multiple air dashes like in 01:50. Everytime I go downforward + dash, she goes down. I figure I must be doing something wrong here. How do you do her air dashes?

if i might add, the best way to get a quick dash is to super jump then quickly air dash. it also goes with a lot of characters like doom whos mobility is terrible. if you super jump then dash down its a good substitute for his lack of wave dash. some combos like magento's hyper grav. loops ca only be performed if you do that

Its decent in corner, but I've had it cross up midscreen. I would say either of those options. I like it vs characters who are much smaller when ducking. Sometimes you go right over them with H.
