I have been listening heavily to Japanese music all my life and I lived in San Francisco so I've been exposed to a lot of Japanese culture and seen a lot of Japanese bands live in my life. Tricot in my opinion is one of the greatest bands to come out of Japan ever, and they're still so new with so much ahead of them. I've had a few friends see them live already, and I'm dying to be the next.

Met them in San Antonio a couple years ago. They don’t speak a word of English but are the sweetest people you’ll ever meet ❤️ Hiro (the bassist) shoved me to start a pit

Got to meet them when they toured with TTNG, Chon and Polyphia on the Big 4 of Math Rock tour. Very sweet people. Security was also trying to kick them cause they didn't know they were the band, but it all cleared up, and everything was cool afterward.

This is really awesome but man, the girl who plays that hybrid jazzmaster-tele-ish guitar needs to get a boost pedal. Her riffs tends to get lost in the mix. But still, awesome!
