@Tyler I myself have an old MF 135 and it also has starting problems but nothing big, mostly it's a small old age problem: 2 simple things you should try: - tap de starter lightly with a hamer sounds like your starter is a bit weak or seased... Just like mine - check the safety pin by removing the gearstick rubber, make sure it's sitting right, you will easly see it! -pullstart is also an option Verry reliable machine! Mine always starts sometimes with a little help.. bit it's no biggie 😀
+ToastedNick still got it but teh gas tank is rusty and i didn't wanna start it and i got sick after i made this video got to late to go and make a vid of fixing it and starting it maybe this summer coming i will
That yellow pick up is a ford. i see not a IH I thought It was but it's not it has a V8 engine with the manifold goes in front of the engine not sure what year though.
Clickbait big time. Plus cranking it with old gas? Stop skipping steps and yank the tank off and do it the right way. You got a piece of farming history there!
Safety? What safety? I'm looking for an old tractor because I don't want any of this BS electronic and stuff, what type of safety is it? Is there any other?
They had a neutral safety switch that usually went bad on the high low selector. It's easily bypassed by cutting the 2 wires off of the switch and hooking them together
Landon Andrews yes i know it doesn't have any new gas in it plus the engine was pretty seized up so i had to do a lot of work before i could get it started wanted to make sure it cranked over frist.
