It’s easy Sin= SOH. You look at last two words. Opposite/hypotenuse Cos: CAH. You take last two words Adjacent/hypotenuse. tan: TOA: same last two words. Opposite/adjacent. I hope that helps you if you are confused. Use the SOH CAH TOA to remember the words.

The value of Sine € is equal to nothing but Co-sine of Complementary angle of € by definition in a Right angled Triangle. Hence, Sine € = CoSine (90 -- € ). Sin € = Cos( 90 -- € ).
