This is a great interview; very conversational and easy to listen to. I am a born and bred East New Yorker of the 80’s and 90’s and have vivid recollections of Broken Language. The technical exchange of bars on that joint is worthy of a case-study. Dope!!!

DOPE, DOPE, Interview. Salute Trigg 🫡 . Wish Smooth Was There. You Had To Be There, What An Era 💯. Broken Language Put Hip-Hop In A Frenzy 😂Facts. Dudes Were Pressured, BAR Was SET HIGH. No One Has Ever Touched Their Style. Funny, Past Recently I Heard Some Young Cat Riding The Beat Of Broken Language. Sh6T Stopped Me In My Tracks, As I Listened To Him, I Said The Same Thing Bro, He's Lyrically Got It. Shooked Me Because This Era Doesn't Know About Smooth Da Hustler & Trigger The Gambler Lol. I'll Look To Find His Link For You, Trigger & Smooth Would Feel HONORED Just Knowing The Younging Is Paying Homeage To The GREATS WAY Before His Time. Which Let's Me Know, Either Younging Is Before His Time OR Younging Has Some Greats In His Mentoring Space. Salute Brownsville D.R Period🫡 1 Great Producer Ot Of Brooklyn.

Yooo Trigga n his bro was superunderated my God bro put me on to them when smooth da hustler had the single every day lifestyle aintvnothin but a hustle n broken language was the first of its kind no cap a couple years later at the PR Day Parade in NYC the same God bro n I ran into Trigga no bullshit 10 or 15 years later I'm in Richmond VA wit the fam visiting n we decided to go shopping usually we go to short mills mall might be wrong on the exact name but it's close enough but for some reason we ended up in another shopping center we all got out ten deep went our separate ways exploring I kidd you not when it was time to go trying to find a fam member I walk pass a familiar face I'm like hold upppp trigga? He turned around showed nothing but love chop it up for a min or two gave him his flowers n kept it pushing my memory is long but this always stucc with me besides being a fan respecting his contribution but shit most of all the world is small as a mothafuccer salute

Yo Cise, Trigger and Smooth the hustler 🫡 . Far as the line between ENY and Brownsville in the 80’s it was Pennsylvania ave. So yea that’s why he said Thomas Jefferson high school. But yea in the 90’s the L train Van Sinderen became the line. I wanna say there’s 2 75th precincts one is closer the L line.
