Squirtle X Master it explains a lot of things in detail that the anime doesnt really get to touch on, Legatos story, Wolfwoods story, more on Knives and why he is the way he is. Its great. Trigun is my favorite anime and manga of all time lol JUST because of Vash.
I know this was 3 years ago and nobody cares anymore, but episodes 18-26 did adapt Trigun Maximum, or at least as much as there was when the anime was released.
Dude. I'm 15 now. I remember my uncle had me and my two cousins to sit down and watch a 90s anime. We obliged. Didn't sleep barley at all that weekend. Finished it all. Or maybe in two weeks. Memories are hazy. It was like 4 or 5 years ago. But man. This anime changed the way I look at life almost. Established a different kind of bond with me, my cousins, and my uncle.
Oh my god. Trigun has had such a profound impact on my life and worldview that just seeing this thumbnail gave me palpitations that were so fast they hurt. I'd recommend people to try reading Trigun Maximum. In particular, Rem and Legato make much more sense as characters once you know their backstories, and Knives is given a much more reasonable motivation for well, being Knives.
Ronnie First is just the regular Trigun manga, which covers around up to episode 16 (though some things happen a bit differently, some episodes were anime only and Vash meets Legato before he meets Wolfwood, there's an extra battle with Knives at the end). Then comes Trigun Maximum, the sequel series. The first volume is almost identical to episode 18 then it starts getting wildly different after that. There's even two major characters that are only in the manga.
Other anime: "We should craft our opening with a combination of meaningful lyrics and footage that teases at the relationships between characters and how the story will play out." Trigun: "Yo what about this sick-ass guitar riff for 90 seconds straight?"
Here after the "Trigun Stampede" announcement. Of the anime’s me and my brothers grew up with on Adult Swim, this is one that slips my mind the most. I never given Trigun a fair watch, but I just remembered how much my brothers liked this show, even naming our dogs “Vash” and “knives”.
Whoa you serious? Good thing I decided to buy the show and the movie on Amazon. When I have kids, I'm gonna make them watch the shit outta this show, lol.
ya know the difference that i adored inbetween the two versions of the intro is changing from vashe's RIDICULOUS bounty to a straight up evacuation order AAAAAAAAAAAAAA it just enhanced the opening to me into another level
Alucard would have the upper hand, as his .454 Casull & Jackal pistols are much more powerful than Vash's .45 Long Colt revolver. Unless Vash transforms the gun into the city destroying Plant.
Satanic Domain Yes, his .45 Long Colt revolver has a module inside. When activated, the gun and his arm transform into a Plant Cannon capable of destroying entire cities or even putting a crater on the moon!
The scene where Legato kills those bandits in the restraunt is one of my favorite scenes in any anime ever:D When I was little it was the awesome thing I've seen in an cartoon.
I'd say episode 5 is where Trigun shows how great Vash is. It's an episode where he takes things seriously for a bit, but I haven't seen any more than thay
I think I know why I love this opening so much. It's the whole show, the whole series, in a minute and a half. Seriously, it tells everything you need to know: Guy with a gun who wears a red coat, gets shot at over nothing, is a clone (or something) and expert marksman, and for some mysterious reason has a huge bounty on his head; Two girls who do a lot of paperwork and carry guns, follow gun-guy around; Mystery woman (Rem); Lots of guys follow gun-guy, trying to kill him and claim the reward.
+OneShallStandOneShallFall Absolutely! It's beautiful! I got the manga and it's the best one in my collection. The second one is Tokyo Babylon :D
