Interesting to see they had different menus depending on the dub of the series. In my dub, the norwegian one, the menu simply consists of a short sequence of each episode playing in frames on the screen. The intro theme plays on a looped version in the background, and theres a timeline at the bottom of the screen starting at 220million years ago, and ending at 60million years ago for the Walking with Dinosaurs. The Walking with Beasts lacks the timeline, but features the same style with the frames playing a preview of each episode, and the theme in the background. Monsters never received an official dub in Norway, and thus its menu remains the same as seen here.
THE NOSTALGIA!!! I loved these menus, and I miss DVD menus like this!! If these were made today it would just be a still image and some flat-looking buttons ):
