The only thing I would have put in this video will be the replacement blades there is a big difference in price to replace if any of these blades break
My fx's never pull hair and I have the deeptooth and it hits just like the standard blade u just got to adjust it closer they have a perfect spot I just got the rose gold collection its beautiful but thoses modified trimmers anit no jpke
Nice! I've heard that deep tooth is better at not pulling. Mine will do it in thicker hair on beards but not to the point where it will irritate and not all the time either. Thank you for checking out the video 🙏🏽🙏🏽🙏🏽
i could be wrong but seems like these gold fx are the best hitters with the fx707z blade, i honestly dont think anything modded beats it unless im mistaken
I think it's subjective, Gold FX is a great trimmer, easily ahead of its time and still the benchmark for sharp trimmers but I've got a couple of modded trimmers that outperform it in specific situations. Not all hair types are the same and at times certain blades just do better.
I've had the Renphos for almost 2 years (keeping in mind last year they had minimal use) and I just got the 3Ds about a month ago. I'm sure the Gold FXs will outlive them but they are a 3rd of the price 🤷🏽♂️
@@Tino2o9 Not with a direct blade swap but I personally like to have 2 types of clippers.1 Linear magnetic (50 cal or ergos) and 1 rotary (seniors or rebels) You can never go bad with a Wahl clipper blade and they fit all of these
Seen a video where someone swapped the blades on it and it made the rpm run 500 less then it should. 7000 rpm setting was only doing 6400 rpm. Have you tried rpm test with blade mod on? It was also not the renpho but it was the one just like it on Ali express
@@IvMacCuts I ordered mine yesterday should get here tomorrow. Going to put Wahl t blade on it. So they hit as good as a cordless Wahl detailer? I seen on elite clipper mods where you can get the mod to put babyliss blade as well as the GTX.
@@oledevon I had the wahl blade and it was nice but I do like the GTX even better (with elite Clipper mod) I also saw a video where you can put the gamma absolute blade on without a mod and it supposedly fits perfectly.
@@IvMacCutsI hope this hits close to a cordless detailer at least. Will look into more mods on it later on if it holds up with the detailer blade on it. Everyone says it heats up fast but so do my SC Evos
