Being in the Marines we all got high bald fades. The base barbers never asked they just did it. and that was back in the 70's before they were popular.
*DOESNT LOOK LIKE A HIGH N TIGHT MILITARY CUT -AT ALL. TOP IS NOT FLAT AND THERE IS NO HEIGHT. LOOKS LIKE A TYPICAL CREW CUT THAT GOT TURNED INTO A SKIN FADE? NOT EVEN THAT*
I like this blade.. why?? Because it’s more safer with the cutter blade. The cutter blade don’t bezel up like Wahl, andis, Babyliss or Stylecraft newer cutter blade. When you zero gapped those brand. Then tilted to trim. It’s not the blade that cutting you. It’s the bezel out part of the cutter blade. The caliber blade is already thin and top of that it’s modified from the factory. That cutting blade isn’t in the way cause it’s flat and sharp.
The only part I'm having trouble with is that line that u do that goes around the head when cutting my own hair. I've tried so many times doing fades on myself but always end up shaving it all after every attempt. Might just buy the template guide to make it easier. But anyway, great job. Best video I've seen on how to do fades.. specially for beginners who might get confused on which guard to use or if it needs to be open or close.👍✌️
Thank you! When I started cutting my own hair I had 2 techniques. 1 was fading down vs up this way not needing to do any guide lines and 2 using a rubber band on my head to set the first line perfectly 😅
I use to be a Wahl barber guy, now a renpho barber guy 2 clippers and 1 treemer, one clipper for cero gap and the other for combs uses. 3 years of extrem work and cut like new, the chrome film is the only thing that was a count
@@IvMacCuts I’m looking to trying something new so I wanted to try this but it looks like most of them are skin fades. That’s why I’m not sure if all high and tight haircuts are skin fades or not
You do good work man ain't too many white barbers where I'm from so when you do see one most of them don't know how to do this much respect I've had cornrows most of my life but when I don't have cornrows this is how my hair is done. I don't know in Philadelphia not too many people outside of the barber shop know how to cut hair. Great work man.
The 22 stinger blade comes with a cam follower included that works on the Kemei trimmer that looks like the Renpho trimmer (also works on Renpho trimmer and wahl detailer) no mod necessary and its super quiet. My go to!
You wanna swap the blade. You've got options but you'll need a modification kit for most. I recommend king clipper mods. The only blade you don't need a kit for is the caliber 22 stinger
@@Tino2o9 Not with a direct blade swap but I personally like to have 2 types of clippers.1 Linear magnetic (50 cal or ergos) and 1 rotary (seniors or rebels) You can never go bad with a Wahl clipper blade and they fit all of these
Honestly a 3 way mirror is really helpful. You can do the bottom one side at a time that way but if you only have a regular front facing mirror I start in the middle and work to the sides
@@kjr9062 yeah but it really depends on the shape your trying to go for. Honestly it doesn't hurt to try different techniques, I learned it'll just grow back 😅
