80% of the clean cut is about the sharpness of the clippers bottom blade , and how close the blades are adjusted. You could make all the trimmer “hit” the same .

I'm a master barber and will tell you, I didn't do much to master my craft. We all learn the basics to get the license. I've also been an artist since age 10. Shop prices and booth rent are what they are. We all don't cut the same or have same skill set. I don't feel every one should charge plumber prices for a one week haircut.

💯% facts!!! Lol. They'd probably start getting booked 2 or 3 times the amount! But less work and almost the same amount of money works for most of them. So I'm sure they're keeping it like that. The customers are still gonna get what they need.
