'The Haunted House' is a 1964 Bill Tracy Dark Ride located on the Boardwalk at Ocean City, Maryland, owned and operated by Trimper's Rides. Originally built as a 1-level attraction, the ride was expanded to 2-levels in 1988 with the acquisition of track, cars, and gags from Bill Tracy's Ghost Ship attraction at nearby Ocean Playland which had closed it's doors. In early 2012, stunts and gags from Bill Tracy's Phantasmagoria at the defunct Bell's Amusement Park in Oklahoma found their way into the ride as part of a major refurbishment that saw the entire attraction touched up in every way possible. The ride will turn 50 next year.
