Not necessarily. Assuming the voltage is the same when testing if one tests the same can with two rotors at the same amps, the rotor (assuming the same diameter) with more gauss will be slower (less Kv) but will have more torque because it reaches 6A at lower timing on top of the extra gauss. Now, if one takes the same rotor and two different cans (such as the Slot Machine and Xfactor) then yes. I do not know what the difference is between the two cans, but every Slot Machine I have (25.5T, 21.5T, and 17.5T) runs cooler, higher Kv, at similar or lower timing. The main thing is the heat. I got rid of my Xfactor motors and only have Slot Machine and HW G4.

@@telecomandorc Ok thanks for explaining. I have renewed interest in off road and my 13.5 4wd buggy. Did a race last weekend and had a decent finish. I currently have a Xfactor with timing at 50 degrees but was considering a R1 or Slot machine....

@@TheNewnan3 So far to of my rotors in Xfactor motors have wet the bed. one in my 13.5T SCT. This can happen with any brand, but two in less than a year of use in my case. Maybe a bad batch. The Slot Machine used the same rotors but it runs much cooler. Many of the top guys here use R1... so there must be something there. How do you like 4wd buggy? I am going back and forth between doing indoor 4wd buggy or not this winter.

@@telecomandorc I keep reading about upgraded or modded rotors? Is that where a lot of speed is hiding with the rotors? Knock on wood Ives had good luck with my x factor so far but I guess I haven’t run it a ton. I really like 4wd buggy over the truggy I had, my SCT and 2wd buggy. It’s very precise and I feel like it’s the best compliment to TC for the winter. It’s an X-ray XB4 so it should be good I guess lol.

@@TheNewnan3 😆 It is an Xray. There is a lot of magic in rotors. I like TEP1152 for Trinity.
