Trinity - The Gloom In The Corner (Full Album Reaction/Review) 

So as a basic explanation, this album is about 3 characters, Rachel, Clara and Ronin, who all previously died (and have their backstories as TGITC's entire discography is one big story the vocalist writes) are fighting their way through hell to try and find a way back to the world of the living. Pretty sure all 3 are going back to see the people they loved before they died. They have to gather a sword, Pandora's box, and the heart of the ruler of hell in order to perform a ritual to transport them from hell to the living world (the voice of narration has been guiding them throughout their journey). However they get back to the living world and Clara and Rachel realise their lovers have died, and Ronin's lover had moved on and found another man (it'd been around 5-10 years since they all entered hell I think). But 2 people chasing them through hell trying to stop them, reveal themselves as Clara and Rachel's past lovers, Jay and Sherlock Bones. Turns out after death they faced the punishment of overseeing the realms and making sure nothing went out of hand, and by the Trinity opening the portal through hell they've basically started world-destruction. Sherlock takes advantage of this chaos to claim the throne, becoming king of the world, but then the voice of the narrator reveals himself as the power-hungry King Baphico (leader of The Order religion) who was plotting all of this, and challenged Sherlock for the throne, winning and letting all hell loose, starting the apocalypse.

This album is fire dude

One of the freshest albums I’ve heard in a LONG time. Easily AOTY

If you havent checked out Monique Pym's band, you should check out RELIQA. Its my favorite EP this year because of how unique it is and how well every single song flows. This album is up there on my list for best albums this year too!
