no the problem is with the filling station not the car, i noticed it when i had to buy fuel using 5L, i paid for 6L plus some few ml .

The physical measure of the tank is converted to an electrical signal which is sent to your gauge. It will never be accurate. The engine control module keeps precise measurements of the amount of fuel delivered and thus calculates your range accurately. It's complex I would say. What I have realised is that Engen petrol is suspect.. I don’t buy petrol there anymore ..

There an Air Lock which takes around 10/12litres more
