Wow, what a very special trip report ! Extreme conditions, de-icing, full power at cruising altitude, a powernap and a pink nose....😀. Well done 👍🏼 and thanks 🙏🏼
Thanks a lot, George! It wad indeed a very interesting flight to rexord and edit. Coming sook my connecting flight from Brussels a couple of hours after landing there! 😊✈
Thanks a lot, mate! Glad that you've enjoyed this one! I'm really looking forward to April, when all the airlines should be flying again! I'm looking for Jet2, TUI and Condor flights... but at the moment they are not flying at all or at crazy prices... 2 months and hopefully we'll have a nice summer :)
An absolutely amazing Trip Report! I love flying during snowy conditions, it’s so beautiful to see the snow on the aircraft and the surrounding areas. The coldest I’ve experienced was, when I landed in Kiev a few years ago and it was -21c!! ✈️
Thanks a lot, mate! Thanks for your kind words :) I would like to fly during these months to some Scandinavian airports, to experiment myself truly polar conditions... but, again, the travel restrictions are messing everything up... I've never visited Kyiv. Hopefully soon! :)
It's the only was to guarantee that all ice deposits are melted. Then, the water-glycol solution keeps the surface protected for a defined time called holdover time, which basically depends on the type of fluid and the weather conditions.
Boy, looks like you've done quite a bunch of early morning departures ! Glad to see some icy temperatures in Poland (with climate change it's not always the case anymore) and snow over Europe. Thank for another report.
Haha I've done some yeah haha Around 300 :D For me, it's the best time of the day for flying. Yes, it's hard to get out of the bed... but the sunrise on the plane, while everybody is sleeping, is just amazing :)
Hi Lucas.Winter time flight reports are really awesome. All this de- icing procedure is amazing although the fluids break my nerves if I have to record a video.Beautiful snowy landscapes and extreme conditions.Cheers
Thanks, Yannis! Glad that you've enjoyed this one! To be honest, I booked this flight at the very last moment and my initial intention was to not record anything, as I wasn't expecting anything special... it turned to be one of the most interesting on the channel haha
Good Morning Lucas! Absolutely amazing vid! Beautiful views.... great filming...Top! Many thanks for making this! Stay safe and have a nice weekend;) Warm greetings.....Betsy.

Abrazote.
Me consta, me consta.
Last year before the lock down, my family and I went from tenerife to Kraków, not the main airport, another one, about 2 hours in car to get to Kraków.. Expensive, pay extra for each suitcase even to sit together, the food was terrible. Going and Coming back to tenerife the flight was excellent.. On tfe south we landed after to attempt, but everything was very smooth anyway.. Problaby, excelent pilots!! Would I fly again with them? Yes but at leat the food need to upgrade the quality. My opinion 😊
Wow! That's cold! Haha Some jets need to go under engineers check if they were exposed to temperatured under -35°C before flying. Hope you had a nice flight 😊
Muchas gracias!
Haha true! However, during this winter I've recorded already a couple of deicings. They will come very soon to the channel :) You mean when we arrived at the plane? Or in the flight in general? When we arrived the heating was already working; during the cruise was the same as always. At a jet standard cruising altitude, the standard temperature is -57ºC :)
WOW!! Why would the pilots suddenly decide to increase the aircraft' thrust?? You were on cruise and yes.... It is sooo weird. Normally, all this is controlled by the autopilot function on many airplanes.
Normal for the thrust, it gets adjusted by AT and FADEC throughout the flight, typical cruise thrust depending on the wind and other factors 75-99% N1. IAE are just very loud type, especially when you seated right next to them
I know how a jet plane works, and it's far from normal that at the start of descent the engines go to 85-95% N1. Probably the pilots wanted to perform a high-speed descent... but again, usually, the increase in speed is not done by increasing the thrust, but by increasing the pitch.
No that was actually True I'm from Poland and there was one coldest day in Warsaw - 24°C and in Olsztyn city which is North from Warsaw there was almost - 28°C
@jimbob2bob It was absolutely correct. It was one of the coldest days I remember. I guess you dont live in places where cold temperatures are something normal... 😐
I apologise, it must have been record breaking. -24 degree temperatures are what you would experience in polar regions. And not in countries like poland.
They are not the every day temperatures, but from time to time, they are common in Poland and all the countries in the area... At least 2-3 times per winter, temperatures drop to these values.
@@EinkOLED not record breaking, there have been far colder temperatures recorded there over the years, Google weather in poland, it has hot summers and really cold winters
The legal requirement is to disembark the airplane in 90 seconds or less using just the half of the exits of the plane. If they operated it is probably because they had sold a lot of tickets for this flight but the passengers decided no to fly.
That flight attendant was speaking the whole taxiing. It was kind of annoying :)) And he's definitely not the most pleasant sounding individual. In addition, he does sound very exhausted.
