Welcome to OnBoardHD. Here you will find Aviation Trip Reports from as many airlines as I can fly. Currently going international, with more and more airlines all around the world! Enjoy the flight!
Very nice video, I feel like I traveled with you. To answer your question about the liveries, call me old-fashioned, but I prefer the Alitalia livery. I grew up with it and to me, it's iconic. The ITA one is also nice, but not as remarkable.
Hey, I haven't checked out your channel in ages, but I'm back now and I've been loving all the stuff you've been putting out since I last tuned in! ❤️✈️
I check mine and my daughter's flight's for the Aircraft type, She lives in Melbourne Oz and wanted to fly back to the UK to see her family so she booked with Qatar, She flew to the UK on a Airbus 380 to Dubai and the flight from Dubai to LHR was on a 777-300ER, The 777 was the last decent, Reliable plane that Boeing built before they put $$ over quality, No way would i or my daughter be stepping on a 787 or 737 MAX, Give me Airbus any day!
Judging from your videos, long haul flights are rarely fully booked. It seems you often have a row of 3 seats to yourself. Having flown a lot of short distance flights within Europe I can barely remember having a row to myself. Is it so that long haul routes are generally less booked?
I understand that could be the impression. But it's exactly the opposite. Long-haul flights are generally fully booked. The thing is that I usually fly on dates that nobody wants to fly because those are the cheapest flights.
Gracias!!!
Yeah... I've seen it... But first, Avianca is not in a position to offer much more than flights to Bogotá... and Volotea is not able to provide a reliable competition. We can like it or not... but the only airline that fulfills all the European Union requirements is Ryanair. =/
@@OnBoardHD Avianca y part of a huge group called Abra. With a huge network and destinations , more than Bogota for Long Haul. Together they can apply for short and long haul slots. Wich is better for the passengers experience.
@@lecupilot Abra is GOL and Avianca, GOL is an airline that has just filed bankruptcy so let's see how they come out from that... Avianca is an airline that has a total of 14 planes for long-haul. Avianca might be a good solution to keep prices at a decent level on the route to Bogotá, Cali, and/or Medellin. That's all.
Yesterday I was in Airbus A320 simulator and if there is the simulator in your city then go because it’s cool and fun I almost made butter landing but there was crosswind
ITA Airways is my favourite airline of all time, I think the interior and exterior are real class, love the livery, it is stunning, another great vlog, really enjoyed this, grazie 👍🇮🇹✈️
Great video, but, ITA, what was that catering, and 6 months old aircraft no screens in front of plane no that should be a refund, and what about the food service on the London leg from Rome, very poor almost Ryanair standard!!.
Mmm I think they just have the policiy that those screens are only ment to be used on long-haul flights. If the deisgned plane would be the usual A320, that one doesn't have any screens, so they don't feel the need of having to activate them on this A321Neo.
did your bag arrived with you? because their known for loosing bags I want to try to fly with them but I am afraid can you tell me if arrived with you or not?
I agree, views of the Alps were amazing just like the field of clouds on the Madrid - Rome leg. I also enjoyed the views of London from above. Entering the plane in Rome was a long shot, really enjoyed that. I'm pretty sure I don't like to be seated diagonal in that business class seat, although it seems comfy.
Loved your TR man! ITA livery rocks! I'm not sure now that LH is taking over ITA the catering will improve :))) ..ITA now flies to LGW and LCY..so for great views of LON you have to fly to LCY either from LIN or FCO with the cute little A221!
Thanks a lot mate! Really happy that you've enjoyed it so much!! I might fly in the future on the A221 to London City. It has to be a really interesting flight! :))
My father flew Alitalia in the Summer of 1972 from FCO-TLV, TLV-FCO in First Class. The aircraft was a DC-8-43. He told me that the steward wore a white jacket during service. I still have the ticket folder in my collection somewhere.
Less than 2 months ago. If you ask because of the date you can see at 17:45, you can disregard it. That clip was reutilized from another video because I didn't have any screen with the flights recorded (the video file got corrupted and I couldn't use it).
