As a junior pilot for the 737 and in training for the Airbus A320 i found this a very interesting video, well shot and sped up at correct times. Great video
Wow, the effort you have put into this video shows me how much you love aviation! This honestly has to be on of the best constructed trip reports to set foot on youtube! Another huge like from me and I hope one day I can fly on this.

Man, judging by watching this video, I would absolutely LOVE to fly on the Finnar A350, although the airline stopped service to YYZ last September. Oh well, hopefully I fly on an A350 at some point in my life! Fantastic detailed trip report mate, liked a lot for sure, one of your best channel videos on there so far!!! :)

Finnair is one the oldest and one of the safest airlines in the the world! Over the years, Finnair has lost „only“ 5 crafts and 58 passengers. May they rest in Peace! Unfortunately I never had a flight with Finnair....only with SAS ✈️
It's so quiet you can hear the flaps move. I have never been able to hear that except while taxiing. And that landing was excellent! The best part though is the tail camera.
+srinitaaigaura The engines are indeed quiet, but on the other hand the flaps are pretty loud. Our pilot told me that this was his first ever landing on an A350... I was pretty impressed! ;D

Lento Helsingistä Bangkokiin siten että olen ilmassa tälläisen A350:n kyydissä kun vuosi vaihtuu. Todella hieno ja hiljainen vaikuttaisi kone olevan (vielä tässä vaiheessa vain videon perusteella) kun vertaa aikaisempiin koneisiin joilla olen lentänyt sinne. 757, MD10, A330/340. Otin vielä mennen tullen sen noin 10 tunnin lennon takia paikan siitä "economy comfort"-osiosta jossa pitäisi olla 10 senttiä lisää jalkatilaa ja muuta ylimääräistä krääsää tarjolla. Saa nähdä onko hintansa arvoisia, mutta aikaisemmin kun tehnyt vähän liian tiukkaa minun makuun. Kerran onnistuin tiskiltä (kun sellaisia vielä oli lentoasemilla automaattien sijaan) saamaan ilmaisen korotuksen business-luokkaan ja se oli kyllä mahtavaa matkustamista... +markotark Kiitos paljon katsomisesta! Varmasti mukavat lennot luvassa! Hieno ja hiljainen tuo kone tosiaan on juurikin A330een ja A340een verrattuna. Matkustamo tuntui todella raikkaalta ja viihdejärjestelmästä iso plussa Finnairille. Comfort on varmasti myös hyvä valinta noin pitkälle lennolle... Kyllä sitä jalkatilaa nimittäin ihan kohtuullisesti niillä etupaikoilla näytti olevan!
+ViewsOfFlying Olen parhaillaan Thaimaassa ja lento tänne A350:n kyydissä oli todella mukava. Hiljaisin ja tasaisin lento mitä olen kokenut. Ja korkeuttakin koneella oli parhaimmillaan 12,5km. En muista että olisin aikaisemmin niin korkealla käynyt. Sain muutama päivä sitten Finnairilta todella halvan tarjouksen vaihtaa Economy Comfort paikkani Bisnes-luokkaan juuri tässä samassa A350:ssä ja tartuin siihen välittömästi. Se on sitten minun ensimmäinen matkani niin prameassa ympäristössä. Ja koska matka kestää lähemmäs 11 tuntia on minulla aikaa nautiskella tälläisestä luksuksesta ainakin kerran elämässäni. Paluuni suomeen ensimmäisessä luokassa on vajaan parin viikon päässä, mutta sitä ennen minun täytyy selvitä hengissä Air Asian 500km pituisesta Thaimaan sisäisestä lennosta joka maksoi minulle 22€. Niin, sekä 10 tunnin matkasta linja-auton kyydissä. Kiitoksia vielä tästä videosta ja kaikista muistakin laadukkaista filmauksistasi.

do you have to pay for food and drink on all FA flights? I am going to Norway in July 21, from Australia and that could cost me a fortune for 33 hours of flying!
+Mike Choy the flaps are loud because, the engines are so quiet that you are able to hear the flaps, on Boeing airplanes the engines are so loud that you can't even hear anything. See how Airbus is the best with those little improvements?!
Unfortunately you where not on the (economy comfort seat) ive always notice on long haul flights that the actual comfort seats are always 20% available with empty seats. Per has because it cost a little too much for a economy passenger perhaps? By all means great video thank you.
+HBO 1 I chose the basic economy class mainly because of the great wing view. On Finnair's European wide-body flights the economy comfort actually cost just as much as the normal economy when the seat is booked in advance. If I would travel a long-haul flight on board an A350, I might consider purchasing a comfort seat... but again I prefer the after-wing view a lot more :)
+ViewsOfFlying What about comfort seats on the A350 are the wings blocking the views off the window ? Considering its a larger plane or much wider i should say.
+HBO 1 Well, on the A350 the comfort seat section is located right between the 2nd and the 3th door so the wing is indeed blocking pretty much all the views. However, I haven't tried those seats yet so this is only what I assume.
+ViewsOfFlying hank again. Well maybe the seat 22 or 23 on the comfort seat still be able to see some extend of views or see the engines perhaps. I don't no this one for this type model plane A350. But i do know the older models seat 23 window you can still see the views and just close to the actual engine too but not blocking it intierly think comfort seats are little better i suppose. How was your seat ? it seems that you where right behind the wall on the first group of the economy area its where the actual comfort seats are located at the front as well.
+HBO 1 Yep, my seat was on the row 33 which is the last row of the front economy cabin. There's a bulkhead behind this row, but the seats still recline! The economy seats on the A350 are to my liking and I don't think I would have any issues to travel a long-haul flight on them.
+XDKana544 Onpa hyvinkin... Tuntui kyllä melko äänekkäiltä ja niiden äänet mahdollisesti korostuu entisestään, kun moottorit ovat puolestaan hiljaisemmat :)
Does not matter if the airplane is quiet if it does not get to the destination!!! Airplane with a "probable manufacturing or construction fault" according to Finnairs costumer agent. Went on a holiday in February and flew the new A350 Airbus. The flight was cancelled and we had to wait in Helsinki until the next day before we could leave to Bangkok. We were declined compensation due to a "probable manufacturing or construction fault" on the A350 Airbus according to the Finnair costumer agent. Not the best of air planes. Really BAD. Lost money on prepaid hotel etc….
That's unfortunately what tends to happen with extremely new aircrafts that are not just building on a excisting design. Finnair was the first European customer for A350. Norwegian got extremely badly burned by 787 for half a year because they were among the first customers of 787. Though, A350 has had far less problems for it's 1 1/2 year.
