Malta Air Trip Report flying in one of the new Mata Air Boeing 737 MAX 8200 from Milan Bergamo to Tenerife South on a lovely and sunny winter morning.
My absolute first time on a Boeing 737MAX painted with the Malta Air livery. This one completes the series of the Ryanair Group Boeing 737 MAX: we have already the 3 liveries on the channel!
This flight with Malta Air was really comfortable. As part of the Ryanair Group, the service is exactly the same as on a Ryanair flight, so despite the plane looking different, also on the interior, the service was the same as always.
We departed from Milan Bergamo during the Sunrise, enjoying some really amazing views of the Alps, flying towards Marseille. After that, we flew towards Barcelona and Málaga, just before entering the Atlantic ocean and flying in direct course to Tenerife.
All in all, an amazing first flight on the Malta Air Boeing 737 MAX. This was my 5th flight on a Boeing 737 MAX and I'm really looking forward to the next one!

Te ha quedado un vídeo muy bonito, para empezar el avión me ha gustado tanto el sky interior como la librea que luce y también las vistas de los Alpes que nunca cansan de verlos, pero lo mejor ha sido la aproximación a la isla de Tenerife con las preciosas imágenes que nos has regalado y ese móvil que usas me asombra el impresionante zoom que tiene, en fin un bonito video para el recuerdo. Un cordial saludo y buen fin de semana.

Muchas gracias, Rafa! :) La verdad es que a mí tampoco deja de sorprenderme su zoom. Sin embargo, la que está llegando al fin de su vida útil parece ser su batería. Cada vez noto que le dura menos. También es verdad es que lleva en 1 año los ciclos de carga que debería llevar al cabo de 3 años de uso intenso. El grabar en 4K un vuelo le consume mucho y llevo mis baterías externas para cargarlo. Creo que compraré el S22 Ultra pronto... Feliz domingo! :)

I like all the livery’s that Ryanair has I think my favourite one is Buzz 🐝 livery I do like the seats inside the Malta Air Like the red at the top of the seats

Good morning,nice video as usual,just one remark,the runway at TFS is 07/25,it has been changed several years ago,Barcelona has also recently been changed,now the paralells runway are 06R/24L and 06L/24R

Another great video! In my opinion, Malta Air have the best looking MAXes out of the Ryanair Group ;) Really surprised how quickly the MAXes are dominating the Ryanair fleet. It won't be long before most 737-800s are phased out.

Another amazing Trip Report! I've got vacation feelings here at home !! I've caught this beauty in december in Tenerife Sur! Just an amazing livery! Hopefully one time I will fly with it :) And the KinderBueno is a must have on every Ryanair/MaltaAir flight !! @@OnBoardHD yes indeed. The flight at the end landed 20 minutes earlier as the wind was in our favour and despite bad weather you could still see the Etna and a whole view of Malta whilst landing. My next flight with Ryanair will be STN-RMI (first flight of the season for that route this year) and I guess it will be operated by Malta Air

Bergamo or so called Orio al Serio airport is a low cost airliners airport. It's worth to mention, the bigger Milano airport is Malpenza with better connection to Milano.

How 738max can have the same engines like a320neo? Please link me some source of that information because it's just imposible

They both use the CFM Leap engine ( en.wikipedia.org/wiki/CFM_International_LEAP ). The Neo also has also a second engine option (Pratt & Whitney PW1000G).

There are really many Ryanair planes in Bergarmo. Is there any other airline? I liked the old 737 winglets more and I have never flown with Ryanair or Malta Air so far. I don't want to fly with the MAX soon. But it's a great trip report.

Yeah, other airlines operate also in Bergamo, but I think only Ryanair has planes based in Bergamo at the moment. A lot of them, to be honest :)

Milan Bergamo Il Caravaggio (Orio al Serio) is the third main hub of Ryanair right after Dublin and London STN, Milan Bergamo is one of the main airport for Malta Air, beside Malta Airport, for operations all over the europe

Es correcto. El tren de aterrizaje fue rediseñado y es más alto que el del NG. De ahí que lo motores no necesiten se más achatados por la parte inferior.

When there is bad weather, buses will take you to/from the terminal, and the stairs used will be covered ones.
