@@OnBoardHD You are welcome. Those long haul trips now a days I have been just using points and or paying for Business Class. I need the space for my legs and my knees. But flying down to your cruise is very nice.
"we will fly faster" i love announcements like this. i always try to give myself about 3-4 hrs transfer time juts in case delays happen. so i actually like it when we depart 30 to 60 min late and the pilot puts the screws to it in the air to make up time. LOL
It's certainly possible to fly faster than the economy speed. On an 8h+ flight, by flying faster just 0.1-0.2 Mach you can recover 20-30 minutes of delay.

@@Sumiin_benji_glooscap In England... British Airways flew 767's for a long time, 1990-2018. Thomas Cook operated 767's 2010-17, and TUI still flies them now in 2023, although they are soon to be retired.
@@altavelmcnamara Yes they do, along with United in the USA, ANA and JAL in Japan, and other smaller passenger airlines. I pointed out recent and current English 767 operators because he said he rarely sees them in England. I realize that both Delta and United fly their 767's to the UK, but I was going for domestic British airlines.

Muy bonito el vídeo .ha sido espectacular las imágenes del aeropuerto de Frankfurt los aviones que han salido sobre todo un primer plano del Boeing 747 increíble, también las bonitas tomas que has hecho de los diferentes lugares que has estado en tus vacaciones que espero que lo hayas disfrutado mucho y por último el crucero que siento decirte no soy muy partidario de ellos será porque no lo he probado pero eso no me va. Thanks for the nice pictures. I always do one Cruise per Year. With Tui Cruises. Last Year we were on a 14 Days Caribbean Cruise also with St. Maarten. It was a cool experience.
Well, take into account that this announcements were done on a 8h+ flight... maybe it was my fault by including them all on the video (however, I deleted the german parts of the msgs) hehe
I think they will keep it on the fleet at least for 1 or 2 years more. They will be replaced by A330-900neo, but I guess they will want expand the fleet, so at the begining they will keep both models.

Brum! Nice to see you around again! :) It was a really amazing trip! Cruising on the Caribbean is one of my top holiday plans :) We stayed 1 day in St. Marteen and in our case we were around 3h in Maho Beach. Sadly KLM doesn't bring the 747 anymore, as it was the most spectacular landing there. Now the biggest one is the A330 (AF or KL). Have a great week! :)
Nice one - I will be flying with them soon again to Montego Bay as i have done several times - it will be the last as they are now replacing all of their 767`s with Airbus A 330-900.
On the one hand I’ll miss the 767s - but coming to legroom the condor 767 economy is just cruel for longhaul so on a comfort point the new 330s are definitely big of an upgrade.
Hi, I have been on two cruises before, on Anthem of the Seas (2018) and Independent of the Seas (2019). In fact, I am due on a third in August (2023) on the new P&O ferries ship, ‘The Britanic’. Anthem was New York -> Bahamas (specifically Nassau), and Independent was Southampton -> Bilbao (Spain). Britanic will be Southampton -> Somewhere in Norway.
@@OnBoardHD They really are good. Although on our Anthem cruise heading back to Jersey, we had a little delay of 4 hours somewhere off the coast of North Carolina, we were even on American National News!

Condor was part of TC Group. When the airline Thomas Cook went bankruptcy, Condor manage to survive, as it was more or less profitable, with the help of the German government.

Since this flight was a German airline flying from Germany to Guadeloupe, where the native language is French, you'd think all announcements would be in German and French, not English. I can imagine that the flight crew might have spoken better English than French though, since all pilots must speak English.
Well, this was a charter flight, only for people flying for the cruise. In this type of operation it's normal that they don't use at all the language of the destination country because it's not expected to have any passenger of that country. English is compulsory for all commercial flights.
Great report as always sir, the mighty 767 lives on. But Condors new colour scheme the stripy one is god dam awful. Also one thing about this flight was the annoying cabin member what seemed to be speaking constantly on your flight, with a very bizarre announcement just prior to landing "cabin crew happy landing"
@@OnBoardHD ah ok. But at 10.47. That's roughly where you would have passed an entry point. And you would have been given a random route as you were nowhere near the NAT tracks.
Mmm I would say it handle's it more or less the same... The point is that, like the A330, the seat config is the best one among the long-haul planes: those 2 seats on the windows are perfect. :)
@@OnBoardHD in my experience, the 777 handles turbulence better. I flew on the 767 a few times and the slightest bit of wind and it gets jostled around, not aggressively but you can definitely feel it a lot more. Maybe I was more aware, who knows. Yes, definitely agree on the seating configuration, it's like having two Embraers side-by-side :)
