Hello guys and welcome back for yet another Trip Report, this time traveling through the night as I’m returning back home again to Oslo after two wonderful weeks here in Turkey.
Our flight was scheduled to leave at 22:35PM and the bus from Our hotel left at 18:00PM and the bus trip was about an hour out to Antalya Airport.
When we got to Antalya Airport we first had to go through baggage inspection and then we could check in for our flight. The que to check in wasn’t that very long but it went kinda slow.
But then the nightmare came as we had to go through Passport control and then security, many people didn’t have a Valid Passport so then we had to wait for hours ( Not literally but felt like it ).
And then finally we got into the terminal which was pretty small compared to Oslo and twice if not tripled as much passengers so there were a lot of noise and it was really really expensive, one ordinary bottle of soda costed €8 ! So that’s why I saved myself for the flight.
The gate showed up maybe 2 hours ahead of the flight and I couldn’t wait to get out of there.
For tonight’s flight we got another hour delayed due to the flight was already delayed from Oslo and boarding started pretty late.
We had to board by bus out to the plane and it is probably the 3rd or 4th time of my life I’ve boarded by bus.
Boarding went smooth and I found my seat located at A in row 18. The windows were pretty damn foggy so I did not record the pushback or taxiing but luckily it vanished as we left the Turkish ground.
We left at maybe 23:30PM and bound for the north. When we reached a steady climb the crew served the meals, as I booked the meal on the flight was pretty expensive so that’s why I insisted bought a cup of Spaghetti Bolognese for €4.50 which was not too expensive.
I also decided to get a cup of tea, the crew accidentally pored one cup too much so they asked if anyone wanted it for free and I decided to take the offer.
After I finished up the cabin crew dimmed the lights so I decided to get some sleep then, I slept for like an hour or so before I felt the need to stretch out so I took a walk through the cabin, and while I was on it I decided to also take a lavatory tour for the first time so I hope you liked that.
After that I headed back to my seat and ahead of us I had views of daylight, maybe like 10 minutes later we began on our decent for Oslo and when we got underneath the clouds I noticed it was really wet cause it was raining.
We made a smooth landing in Oslo and touched down from the north on runway 19R at about 02:00AM and had a pretty long way to taxi to gate F16.
After I got off I only had to head through passport control and then go for some Taxfree shopping before I claimed my luggage and finally headed home at maybe 03:00AM.
