I've flown Ryanair several times across Europe and never had a problem. This is a good representation of how the airline operates with a budget ticket price. They cut out all the fancy stuff like extra leg room, included meals & jetway boarding etc and you get exactly what you pay for, cheap affordable travel. 👍

Darren Soames Ryanair is a good option for familys who dont have the money to go on a flight for several hundreds of euros, however i think easyjet is a better airline.

Much of what you say is correct Darren, the real problems arise when things go wrong, however infrequently that may be. In that respect Ryanair have a justifiably terrible customer service reputation when delays and cancellation occur.

It’s the most popular plane in the world that airlines buy. There’s an American budget airline called “Southwest” that also only uses the 737. Southwest Airlines is very popular. I’ve never flown with them.

Ryanair is a great airline, the service is great, friendly staff and affordable prices for flights. The only thing that I didn’t like on Ryanair when I went on it is when it landed, it was really rough.

guys guys guys, Ryanair is an amazing company, you get what you pay for, what... €10 a ticket for the service, it's bloody amazing, Ryanair have amazing Flight attendants (FA) and good pilots. I mean yeah people have different opinions but come on, take what I said into consideration. yeah they have ups and downs, pros and cons but so does every airline. If an airline never had faults, it would be a problem and think of it, no Ryanair has ever crashed to there you go, Ryanair in my opinion is the safest, richest and most fantastic airline in Europe also I m Scottish so you flying to Glasgow is cool 😊 also who else thinks the worst part of going on a. flight is waiting in the airport?

Fun fact: a majority of RyanAirs revenue is not from ticket sales. Its from people paying more so they can take more luggage onboard, people paying to sit together with their family, inflight food etc

The reason Ryanair only shows gates 20min before departure is because their planes are very tightly scheduled. The plane will only arrive at Stansted about 20mins before your flights due to take off and Air Traffic Control could send it to any gate in the terminal. The airport (all airports) only assigns gates to aircraft that have already landed. So Ryanair don't know what the gate will be until 20mins in advance. BA leave 1 - 3 hours between flights (depending on route and aircraft type). So they know much earlier what gate it will board from.

Is good argument that you think that,have logic,but that is not the case, is for you to buy thinks at the airport, for example, in CIA, Rome, RYR fligths of the next day have their gate asigned. BTW is really heateable this think, when I visited MAN, and returned to my home, the gate *of any fligth* except the ones were on bridges, were not shown until "the gate was officialy opened"(well, in true, when you go there the gate wont open untl 10min then)

Been flying with Ryanair for the short journeys from Glasgow to Dublin for years now and never had any problems, and the prices are great! I did notice that the rear seat pouch/net is gone which is definitely a recent change in the last couple of years as i always remember them being there - especially because i left my Playstation Console in there and never got it back! Great review :)

I fly 3 to 4 times a year on Ryanair; really enjoy it.The money I save on the flight I can have a meal at the airport,some beer and a few G&T’s plus more on the plane and still have change !Thats also taking into consideration I by the flexi plus ticket so have seat reserved plus priority boarding!

Ryanair, easyjet and wizzair are my favourite airlines because they are the cheapest. If you are alive after your flight whats the big deal? Im not going to pay more for "smoother landings" or "more legroom". If its safe its fine. I also love KLM and AirAsia :)

I don't like them. It's more stressful to fly Ryanair than a regular airline and the service is not very good. I have to fly with Ryanair regularly, because there are no alternatives on my route. If I had the choice I would rather pay a bit more to have decent service and less stressful journeys.

Eco-good airline is still much more expensive than the priority ryanair. And tbh, it's one of the BEST companies taking into consideration price ticket. It's way more than what you paid for. I took a Delta flight from Brussels to LA for 200$. :It was cheap. You should definitely see the service. AWFUL AS FUCK! When I saw that, I realized how much a good company is Ryanair.

Whatever you may think of Ryanair, (they do plenty of shitty things I don't like), how many other airlines offer the huge number of destinations and the frequency of trips? I went from Madrid to Tenerife 1 way for €10; came back on a staff travel ticket as missus works for Ryanair. I went from Madrid to Ibiza for €20. I went from Stansted to Edinburgh for £30 return. 5 years before I had paid £110 for the same trip by train. It was during the ash cloud so I didn't even get a seat on the way up and had to stand for the 6 hr journey. Plus we had a 1hr layover waiting for a connection train. I could have flown 4 times for almost the same money, be guaranteed a seat and and have spent at least half the travel time, if not 1/3. I remember 10+ years ago driving a 500 mile round trip to Liverpool (brother was at Uni there) and it cost £50 petrol. I have travelled to Madrid which has got to be a 2,000 mile roundtrip for the same money or less. Tell me how that can be bad? Factoring in inflation driving is a rip off compared to flying with Ryanair and I need to provide the car, insurance, road tax, pay for maintenance and drive the damn thing!

Super gemacht! Also ich persönlich finde Ryanair grässlich und würde nie im Leben ein Fuß in eine Maschine von denen setzen. Wenn man sich die Dokumentation angeschaut hat, welche ich in einem vorherigen Video verlinkt hatte, versteht man, wieso Ryanair lieben zu meiden ist. Von EasyJet kann ich das Gegenteil behaupten: Ich bin vorgestern das erste Mal EZY geflogen, und war überrascht von der Professionalität der Crew, sowie von den Abläufen an Bord. Hinterher durfte ich sogar in das Cockpit. Der Pilot meinte, dass sie keinen Druck vom Management hätten, eine bestimmte Menge an Fuel zu tanken, was bei Ryanair durch sogenannte fuel lists gemacht wird, etc. weitere zwielichtige Geschäftspraktiken inklusive... Fazit: Nicht Ryanair fliegen!

+Leon Zwick Ich mag das Design der RyanAir-Kabine nicht so sehr, aber da ich viel geflogen bin (hauptsächlich Ryanair, aber ich war ein bisschen wie ein WizzAir), war ich es immer. Deshalb mag ich WizzAir viel besser. Nicht meine Lieblingsfarbe ist gelb! Und ich mag es nicht, dass Sicherheitsinformationen auf den Sitz vor mir "gezogen" werden, zum Beispiel, wie ist der Druck in der Kabine, etc. ... Ich mag das Design der Ryanair-Kabine nicht, das ist gelb, ich rede nicht einmal darüber und ich mag nicht einmal die Sicherheitsausrüstung, die hinten auf meinem Platz ist (was ich sehe). Zum Beispiel, was ist, wenn der Druck in der Kabine zu fallen beginnt ... Also der Punkt ist, ich mag die Wizzair-Kabine viel mehr, so bevorzuge ich lieber zu reisen als Ryanair. Mit freundlichen Grüßen, LogRol / I think I like WizzAir much better than that. I do not like the design of the Ryanair cabin, this is yellow, I do not even talk about it and I do not even like the security stuff that is in the back of my seat (which I see). I sadly didn't listen to them, I booked my flight a few weeks ago to visit my family members and now I've seen on the news that they are cancelling 100's of flights. Roman Williams actually they're not cheap at all. I pay 750 pounds regularly to go from EMA to LPA with wife and child. No bags. Not cheap, just cheaper than the alternatives. I've had dreadful service from them several times and the attitude is just that, you get what you pay for. Bad attitude I feel.

I hear what you say but my 2 trips with Ryanair were very unpleasant! "You do not pay for luxury," it is the purpose of a low-cost airline ... I do not ask for luxury but respect for the person who is on board this plane !

That is a good point, I do agree that the flight attendants have a very bad attitude, however, I have done a few flights to GCTS with ryanair and the flight attendants were not bad, however, they could definitely have a better attitude.

Hardly a flop as they are probably the most profitable airline in the world. That's not to say they they are the best, that is all down to a matter of perspective. To RyanAir shareholders yes they will think they are the best, massive profits mean huge dividends. From a customer perspective the result is more mixed. Very low fares are evident - unless you are travelling at the last minute. The myriad of questionable additional charges and the fact they often fly to airports some considerable distance from the city they purport to serve (e.g. Beauvais is NOT Paris!) is also very irritating. The biggest bugbear of all though is when there is disruption of service - when delays or cancellations happen RyanAir are the worst carrier for managing this by quite some margin. So if you want a cheap getaway & don't mind putting up with garish & spartan aircraft interiors, irritating fanfares when arriving at an airport 100km from where you actually want to go and being abandoned if your flight is delayed or cancelled then RyanAir is for you.

The gate number prior to departure isn't always known until the aircraft has landed and is on it's way to the gate allocated to it. It's rarely a far in advance, pre-determined thing as far as I'm aware.

I had heard bad thing's about RyanAir in the past, mainly in regards to their pilots being underpaid & over worked, as well as some of the airline's operating procedures (only carrying a dangerously minimum amount of fuel, etc...), but it seems as if your overall experience was good. I agree w/your frustration over the boarding procedures @Stanstead, that would irritate me as well, having to wait till the last minute to get your gate #....I enjoyed the vid, as I do your other Trip Advisory's, keep posting & I'll keep watching. Their my favourite airline. Ive flown with BA 3 times, 2 1hr+ delays and one cancellation.... ryanair ive flown with countless times they're half the price and have a more modern fleet and no problems
