100% agree! Definitely the BEST airline in the LH group, than comes LX than nothing nothing and nothing and at the end the 5***** Skytrax Airline LH *LOL*😜
Austrian will be introducing a pay-per-eat catering service at the end of March... the breakfast won't be available. I will review it, but I think the best catering service in a European economy class is gone forever.
Sometimes I'm still in awe of how immense airport terminals have become from since I was a kid. The views from above were great. And I never experienced so much turbulence on a flight. Some of the many things I like about the trip reports of this channel.
Thanks a lot, Rudi! Really glad that you've enjoyed the video so much! Just wanted to inform you that during the next 3 weeks I'll be uploading 3 videos per week :) Have a nice week! :))
Having flown on both airlines on short haul flights. I personally prefer Austrian - they seem to have more friendly crew, which makes the experience so much better. The breakfast provided for 10€ is amazing quality. I’ll need to prebook one the next time flight with them. ✈️
Absolutely! I think the same! I can't say in long-haul, as I didn't fly with ay of them... but for short haul I have it clear when they offer similar price :)
Wow, what a lovely surprise to have x 2 trip reports in 1. It made my Sunday evening more enjoyable. Great to see Lufthansa have restarted a drinks and snack service, it was only a few months ago they didn't even offer passengers a cup of water.
Wow, This really shows how Lufthansa doesn't exactly deserve their 5*. Austrian is very under-rated in my opinion. Great report though! Love having 2 flights in one video.
Absolutely agree with you, mate :) In my honest opinion, LH doesn't deserve those 5 starts. Maybe at some point in the past, it deserved them... but not at all now (not even just before the pandemic).
To be honest, it's happening in almost every flight. Cabin crew reminds the pax to stay seated until the row in front of them has left and around 95% of pax always remain seated. The other 5% needs another call by the crew to return to their seats :D
Hi Lucas.Wunderbar my friend. Two reports in one video.I believe that you fly a lot.Things are getting worsen each day and I see that the game will keep on.I have never flown with Austrian but I have flown with Lufthansa a few times.Never was impressed by them.Cheers
Thanks a lot, Yannis! Gald that you liked this one! :) I think things will soon start to improve and, hopefully, this time will be to not get back again! Let's stay positive! :)
Another awesome video. But of course, that goes without saying, from this channel. I especially love the other aircraft destination information. €10 seems like a very reasonable price considering the quality and quantity of the breakfast!
Two great Airlines in my opinion, the difference Is made by the breakfast😄...10 euro for that wonderful meal are really a good price. Thanks for sharing.
You have the vest trip reviews out there! And you look like a very respectful person so kudos to you! I only have a question. during taxiing how do you know which plane goes where?
Thanks a lot, Nicholas! It's always a pleasure to read comments like this one! Really glad that you enjoy the videos so much! :) The aiplane destinations are known by the airport info screens or with FlightRadar24, just by checking the registration of the plane. However, in small airports that I know, or where there is not a lot of traffic, it's quite easy to know where almost any plane will go. Cheers! :)
Austrian is a really super carrier...have flown Lufthansa myself a couple of times...and honestly ( my personal opinion..) they're just about ok... lots of " smaller " carriers now offer much better on board catering and service..and more competitive pricing..this is why LH has seen a lot of it's passengers move to those carriers now.. thanks for sharing...!!
@@OnBoardHD thanks for your reply..!!! This is a classic case of carriers that are living on past accolades...and not understanding these rapid changing times.. always look forward to your interesting content.. take care and stay safe...
Saludos!
I've never flown Austrian in long-haul... however, what you've seen on this video for short-haul doesn't apply anymore... Austrian has stopped the cateirng service I show on this Trip Report... it's not possible to book pre-ordered meals on the website. They've said that the new service will be much better (pay-per-eat on the plane) but I sincerely doubt it... On long-haul the service should be the same as it was for the last years. Have a nice flight :)
@@OnBoardHD thank you! Haven’t flown in 13 years and I’m anxious on what to expect! I do see Austria Arline is subsidiary of Lufthansa. What airline would you recommend for long distance flight?
Not yet, but I really expect the first one soon! :) I'm thinking about making Warsaw-Krakow by train and then back by plane or something like that. Let's see...
Thanks a lot, Sirine! Glad that you've enjoyed the video! I agree with you. If I would have to choose between them to make one flight and they offered the same price, I would choose Austrian. Have a nice weekend! :)
Hola!
