When working in the Office in Central London, indulging in some lunchtime retail therapy is essential. Afterwork, I had the pleasure of exploring the renowned Borough Market, which exceeded my expectations. However, it's important to note that the market closes at 5pm every day except Sundays, when it closes at 4pm. If you're planning a visit to London, I highly suggest experiencing Borough Market on an empty stomach to fully appreciate the diverse culinary offerings. My friend was slightly disappointed that I wasn't indulging in much, I had arrived on a full stomach but still managed to squeeze a delicious Samosa Chaat :)
With proper planning during your time in London Bridge, you can conveniently explore both Borough Market and The Shard simultaneously. Admission to the rooftop of The Shard is priced at £25 - £30, I believe. But, I guess it must be free if you have a booking at one of the restaurants there. Unfortunately, we were pressed for time as we had other commitments later that evening.
