I was at a garden centre once and told the staff that I could just slide a cot and sleeping bag under the flower displays. I even love the smell of dirt and plants. Imagine sleeping in a garden centre! My dream
I love how the raccoon respectfully walked around the plants, so cool. The little fishing boy would look cute fishing off the bridge in your river of flowers or by the pool.
I think you should put the fishing boy on your new bench near the bridge, or sitting on the side of the bridge so he looks like he’s fishing in the “water” that you planted. Or near that area.
Your begonias will take off like crazy once the weather heats up. I made a huge island bed in my front yard and recut the edge for one year but I didn't. want to have that annual chore (I'm in my seventies) And right on cue, someone close by was replacing their front walk and I asked the contractor if they were going to reuse the interlocking bricks they were removing. "No. Would you like to take some?" I channeled my bargain loving Jess and said "Oh ya". Not only did they load up my wheel barrow, which I subsequently couldn't budge, they walked the load of bricks over to my house. I quickly ran in the house and baked a batch of thank you cookies for them! I dug down and fitted the bricks at ground level around the island bed and now my push mower just glides over the bricks and keeps the grass in perfect check.
A planting day is always a good day! I planted yesterday and now it's raining! You have a great reason to build a little pond for your fishing boy! Thank you for letting us hear you sing!
If you got an old tree stump or something for him to sit on, and put the lil fisher boy on the stump next to the living river and/or next to the bridge that would be cute. He would be fishing in your living river.

We cut down a bunch of trees growing on the property line and one was a mulberry tree that we didn’t identify and now I’m sad. 😢
Hi Jes. I have an idea for the hole in fishing boy. How about making a stick into a fishing rod and have a white string hanging from it. It is like an old fashioned way of fishing.

I think the hole in the bowl of the birdbath is so in the winter you can turn it upside down. It will lock onto the base and not be able to fill with water and freeze and crack during the cold months. Garden is looking great❣️
Yes, go hold that baby! I know you have mentioned before that you can’t have kids ( don’t remember why) ? But you would make such a great mom! There are so many that need good loving homes. Have you ever thought of adopting? You could always start out just fostering and go from there. I hope you answer this in your Q & A

Good morning Jes, thanks for the trip to the greenhouse. I'm so anxious to go my husband just had hip surgery, so I can't go yet but I'm sure wanting to get there, so this was fun today to spend the time with you in the greenhouse looking at all those beautiful plants, bushes, and flowers. Been trying to clean up my gardens, but it keeps raining here in Ohio. We do get a break in time to keep up with the mowing, so happy for that.😊❤ Your gardens look absolutely beautiful, Jes.
