There are many beach resorts on Bohol and the surrounding islands. Isla Hayayay Beach Resort and Restaurant is on an island that can be accessed over a causeway "bridge". You can reserve your dates on sites like Agoda, Booking.com, and others. It has a nice pool, restaurant and bar.

Dear sir, just wanted to send you a quick message and let you know how very much appreciated your videos are. My zamboangenya wifey is not a youtuber, she’s more of a facebook junkie, but I can put your videos on and she’ll sit and watch half the day. Your stuff looks really great on my 50in Plasma tv. Thanks and pls keep ‘em coming!

Thanks Anthony. Bohol is attracting many more foreigners it seems. I like the island. It is big enough but not too big.

I did want to stay at a resort of some type out of town but we ended up going into Tagbilaran for the night and back on the ferry to Cebu.

looks like 22 to 26 dollars a night depending on the booking site - looks like a nice place

It seemed very quiet there with all of the guests out and I didn't see any karaoke setup so it might be a great place to relax Mark.

I once knew a guy that used to say, "Hiya, Hiya, Hiya," a lot.

I have learned a few Bisaya words but I like "oi" and "wala kwarta" best.

Have you considered getting a drone for your videos, Rod? It would be a great addition to these places you show. 😁
@AmazingPhilippines1
@AmazingPhilippines1 5 лет назад
A drone would be nice Casey and I continue to watch reviews of the new models as they come out. I am hoping the prices come down quite a bit. The best go for around $1000. Maybe one day.
@caseylance88
@caseylance88 5 лет назад
@@AmazingPhilippines1 They are a big investment, the Mavic Pro is great for travel because it folds to the size of a water bottle, but for 1,500 dollars just for the drone alone, I'm pretty hesitant also. Haha. I'm sure as the market grows, prices will get more competitive though. Keep up the good work Rod, I'll be in this area in about two months again, so I'm really enjoying the information 👍

Greetings from Hutt City NZ Sir Rod. Hayahay means cool. So i'm just told, lol.
@wuhan827
@wuhan827 5 лет назад
It can differ in meaning tho depending on the usage of the word. Just a heads up but the rough meaning of hayahay is kind of an easy life/ easy going time of the day/week or something like that.
@AmazingPhilippines1
@AmazingPhilippines1 5 лет назад
Thanks Bob. I have learned another new word. I have some trouble properly pronouncing Bisaya and Pilipino words though so few understand me. LOL.

Ahhhh, I knew it was a Northern Mid West State ! I lived in Paradise Valley outside of Scottsdale for a School year in the early 70's ! Where do u live currently ! Have u been to Baguio yet ? I was there in 2004 and loved it, very pleasant weather at the time.
@AmazingPhilippines1

I have not been to Baguio yet Eric but hope to. It gets a little cool during our wetter season.

Great video.. kinda strange how they don't ever know what the distance is especially if they live there
@AmazingPhilippines1
@AmazingPhilippines1 5 лет назад
I have found that people use time more than distance so they will tell you "about 20 minutes". Also, in the city, they will tell you by how many "rides", jeepney rides it is to get somewhere.

Hello Gary from mn can you do a video on longterm rentals in Bohol with aircon and hot water shower
@AmazingPhilippines1
@AmazingPhilippines1 5 лет назад
Thanks for the suggestion Gary. I spent a week on Bohol traveling and what I have found is that you should decide on an area and then start asking the locals. It is best to have a Filipino help you find and negotiate so you don't get the "foreigner price" though. I am back in Cebu now but I will touch on it in my next video.

It would depend on the tour but I think most would collect the fee before any tour Jashua.
