One of my favorite places to visit and for shopping when I go to the US, is a military surplus store, I spend a lot of money there. As matter of fact, I spend more money there than in an actual mall store. That is why I say, God bless America 👍🇺🇸
Thanks for the video. I grew up a few blocks from an Army surplus store, it looked very much like this one, right down to there being tables with random stuff on them, lol. They sure know how to stack it deep and to the rafters. This was like a little trip down memory lane, thanks again!
There's one in Chattanooga that has all kinds of things, one of the best surplus stores I've ever been to. There used to be one near my house that mostly uniforms and not much of anything else but was amazing. There's another just out side of the hunter army airfield around Montgomery, GA that's super small but packed with all kinds of stuff.
I grew up a block off of Yadkin Blvd. In Fayetteville. I loved taking a walk and hitting all the stores and the Korean tailors that would make or modify anything you wanted . Hell I was larping before it was cool. Great memories . I can't take a road trip without stopping if I see one .
I’ve been to that store in converse. Our family machine shop used to be right down the street from it. Awesome store. Their first aid section is the best.
I find it amusing that you people believe the headlines and not the truth. I know many people who work for BRCC and none of them are anti gun. Shows how stupid Americans truly have gotten over the years. Y'all are no better than the cancel culture commie Left. You get your "Information" from headlines and talking heads who have no idea what they are talking about. You might wanna look up how much money those guys have donated to "FPC" and other gun rights groups before you talk shit and prove you are an idiot. They do one time donations that are more than you make in a year.
The local Surplus store was THE outdoor gear and clothing store when I was growing up. I spent many an hour browsing. Incidentally, it was called Browseville. And spending much of my paper route earnings there too.
I miss the ones near FT knox that had all kinds of electrical parts and radio gear those were super cool had one that had a lot of stuff like lights and parts from military trucks too
Its surprising when your local surplus store shows up on RU-vid. It’s a great store they have an awesome Selection of items and equipment. The only bad thing I can say about that place is the prices for things have gone up a lot since 2019. I know that’s everywhere but I’ve noticed a huge spike in the prices for most surplus lately.
Unfortunately here in my city the army surplus stores have gone retail, when I was young they used to be good real surplus stores but they’re not anymore. The few that were good surplus stores went out of business also so there is just two now here in Indianapolis and their 80% new retail
@@elmarobberts5128 no SHE is at least 10 years older than me and lives in another state. And according to MY genealogy family tree SHE ISNT in it. And I can TRACE MY ROOTS BACK TO NORTHERN GERMANY AND A SHIELD .
Cynthia Rothrock There is a good one I would say 40 miles south of Indianapolis and I don’t know exactly where I was just traveling around going to antique stores wherever the roads took me at one point, and ran into it, it was a real army surplus store, I wish I could remember where it is.I would say it’s due south of Indianapolis
RU-vid has taken down two of my posts stating the location of this shop so unfortunately I won't be able to say where it's located, its name is armed forces supply it is in Texas.
How lucky are you to have a surplus store like that!!! I might have to plan a trip just to hit up that store. Our surplus stores are no where near that stocked!
Okay that has to be the best surplus store i have ever seen. As a Mil spouse been to all kinds of surplus and sell offs in different countries ( okay the on in Gelnhausen an Budingen DE was pretty good), but this place is flaming amazing plus organized.
🔥I, William, idliketo outdoors, just came across this episode as I am waiting to make my weekly volunteer visit at a local prison, they need Jesus too, and really enjoyed it. I'll be stopping by again since I am now a subscriber. The Lord bless you.✝

@@hypocrisyhunter8919 the Armed Forces Reserve Center is permanently closed. The place in this video is called “Armed Forces Supply”. They are still in business
Damn the one near me kind of sucks it’s dark smells weird and the lady is really mean like degrading mean. It’s kind of funny but borderline an experience. 😂
I come from fort worth, we have omahas army navy, everything in the crammed store it real military equipment going back all the way to wwii, seeing this is a bit different lol
Loved the tour of the Store but please oh please slow down the Camera movements!!! It makes it almost impossible to watch. Other than that, it was good.
