I took the same train from Warsaw to Krakow back in 2015 during a graduate study tour. I arrived in Warsaw literally right after the opening of M2 Line. That new line prevented me from missing my train to Krakow. The ticket lady at the Central Railway Station tried her best to speak English and was very kind. Hope Warsaw can have 3-4 new lines in the coming years.
