Cheers boys! Glad to see you’re turning out more videos again!👍. Must be winter Both sleds are looking amazing! Can’t wait to see them with the hoods on! You guys make such a good team! Cheers 🍻🍻🍻🍻
Very cool to see these two coming together!!! Cant wait to see them done.. I am already trying to plan a ride north and find a place to stay up north...... And also like the Beard you rocken !!!!!!
Nice sleds and shop Todd. Great work of art you and the boys do there. Have a great winter suppose to be z good one up there. Pray for our country ! It going fast ! Enjoy life to its fullest God bless y'all
Coming along nicely. Lookin forward to seeing the hoods completed! I ended up just cutting the studs out of my track but im a one man show. 102 studs later i was done.😂 🍻
You make an excellent point about the cost of good hardware. I’m running into the same type of sticker shock as Im purchasing bolts for the LS swap. It’s completely out of control.
That teal was absolutely the right choice! Making proper bolt packs (Has every fastener needed for the complete sled) for the certain years would be a fantastic idea!
Looking great on both XLTs! I just sprayed my pipe on Indy Trail with black semi-gloss engine enamel, looks real good. Maybe try it out with those LMR rusty pipes at some point? ...ah thats right you go with ceramic paint....LOL.
Hey Todd your progress looks great. Nice job guys, love it!!!! Sorry I haven't commented much, deer season here in NY. Next weekend is the end then the sleds come in the workshop .soon as I get a chance I'll try to cover some of your hardware 👍. Can't wait to see two bag together!!
I like polaris but I like ac a little more 😊 I sell my xlt and now you get 2 of them. I'm the guy that asked you if you ever Drill out the oil holes for better crank bearing lube. Oval the holes out a little bigger. Have a great season 👍. 👍
Hey Todd, where did you order the new bolts from on the Ultra motor? Gonna be assembling my 96 right away but want some new shiny bolts to tie it all together.
bolt prices are downright unreal these days. Between building my Pontiac Grand Prix enduro racing car and putting new suspension in my Plymouth Duster this summer I spent around $400 on just bolts, nuts and washers. And pricing on ARP hardware for engines is downright crazy too. I put a new set of headers on my Duster and figured I'd get new bolts for those while I was in there and the set of 16 ARP manifold bolts was over $50. Sleds are coming together great tho! Can't wait to see these things fire up!
Gen 2 and evolved dash plates would be awesome. At least there’s some stuff out there to dress up a gen 2 hood via wraps but nothing for the evolved hoods which is what I’m stuck with.
Dumb question: The engines are the same between an aggressive chassis and a wedge, so wedge pipes would work? Looks like obviously yes. (Ex: Wedge Storm pipes on a 96 up Storm)
Make me miss my evolved xlt touring turned into a rmk shaved heads home made pipe 1 3/4 track coustom paint thing was a monster singel seat cobra windshield was a loaded sled elertic start and warners and reverse scrapped it for a 06 apex
Have a 2003 chassis for the 800xcr engine to go in 2005 chaincase to get the phatom break system . Fox dual spring race shocks 1.5 track, 4 driver track drives. Light weight jack, race brake rotor. Rear heat exchanger cut in tunnel Fuzion skid with mods to use race components. Walker evans race shocks front and rear. Slp slt ski's in yellow Slp hot air elimination kit Stock pipes. Billit torque arm front left of engine. Performance motor mounts ftom V force 2 reeds with spacer . Will try to install chassis stiffner on jackshaft clutch side off the 440 pro xr chassis. Now oray for lots of snow down here in this sand pit state. Lol fl.
Do you think you could have painted the SLP ski loops ? I'm doing the color with same color on my frames thinking the loops could take the paint.. Paint for plastic
@@toddclyne3493Man I must’ve got lucky! I have a 97 SPX with 192 studs in it that I’ve been removing all the trashed ones and moving the decent ones to the outside edge so I can put brand new ones down the center. I didn’t have a problem with a single one coming out, no heat at all just impact.
