Mid-bunk design idea. As a Mid-bunk owner having one child and being a full timer, design a single full size bed. Just as some units have the mid-point pivot bathroom doors ( I don't know the official term), how about a midpoint pivot full bed similar to a Murphy bed that lifts up and bivots as opposed to a fixed height pivot on Murphy beds.. Based on that midbunk, it could work either way. Design it to fold up in slide or up the interior wall with a short dresser that can be accessed underneith. I love the cabinet space, but washer wouldn't work there for a full timer kid's room.

Luxe are truly amazing coaches they are a custom dealer I’m ordering one soon matter fact this exact coach and I’m using the mid area for a freezer storage and office they’re going to reinforce the floor for it and I’m ordering the freezer and ship it to them they’re going to put it in before they put the slide in for me they are truly an amazing Manufactures of coaches.

I like that they are using the SEA LEVEL tank sensors. Big improvement over standard internal tank sensors that always get mucked over and give false readings.

We've been looking at that model Luxe after we retire the first time. We would use the mid bunk as an office on both sides. You can customize the Luxe's just about anyway you want.

I hope one day you find a keystone Fuzion 429 to review. We just picked one up last weekend and love the unique floor plan. Drove 1,500 miles to get it. Two kids and two dogs in the F-450. Fun times and well worth it!

Do a video on the Montana High Country 305RL. Im a 20 year old pipeline welder and im going to buy a Montana 305RL soon. Ive heard its the top selling 5th wheel. It is there smallest 5th wheel they make. Im going to pull it with my 1999 f250 7.3 powerstroke. I have a 950 pound welding generator on my rig truck as well. Im going to be pulling 14k including the Montana, welding machine, steel bed, and tools.

Every guy needs his man cave LOL I think the best use case for a mid bunk if you don't have kids IS an office, considering you can stash a very roomy 2 foot deep 4 foot wide desk in place of that single mattress. Alternatively you could just as easily throw your gym equipment in there with weights and an adjustable bench and use it as a mobile work out room. Need a place to store an expensive/heavy ebike/escooter and don't have a hitch carrier on your rig or don't want it outside to be stolen - it's good for that too. BTW: If you do have kids, look for a floor plan with a loft AND bunk - best of both worlds IMO

Great video review of these awesome coaches. I'm a little envious because we've started seriously looking at the LUXE brand of Fifth Wheel coaches as our first choice in our pending full time RV lifestyle. We've never owned even a tent, let alone anything like this, but I can easily see us spending all our travel time living in a coach like some of the LUXE models are. The mid-bunk is also a great way to leave a computer setup while your stationary and it won't interfere with meals at the dinette table. By now you know that the W/D combo is in the bunk room to the left of the desk. What I've noticed is that with Luxe models, one of the telltale signs of a W/D combo is the extra wide doors with the louvers on them.

Seems like you might be thinking about getting a Luxe. It would look nice behind that big F450. You’d be like the MFIC or the big man on campus or the belle of the ball. Get it with a color scheme that matches you truck. That is a beautiful color. Don’t forget to post pictures.

The tri-axle is nice, but when you have to pay tolls, they add to the fees. I know because I looked at a tri-axle stacker trailer for our DP. The trade off for the increase cargo capacity is worth it. When hauling kids, that can be important too.

LUXE are custom built (to order) & purchased "Factory Direct" so you decide if you want an F&P "Dishdrawer" or NOT, and discuss that when you order ! An concept totally lost on so many of the viewers, apparently.

Love the mid bunk RVs too. The sales rep would drive me around the sales lot in a golf cart and I'd pick out the mid bunks from the slide. He'd say, "you know more about these than I do". Reality, the mid bunk slideout is quite distinguishable.

if they could like ditch the couch in the mid bunk and just have the elevated bed for when you have excessive guest or something, it would make a nice office area for someone living full time. I'd argue to have more countertop at desk height and you can genuinely have a mobile workstation so if you are either permanently living there or vacationing for extended times, you can still comfortably conduct business there. Obviously this is something id like to see optional, as most people will like the couch, but that would be a very nice niche I don't see in any other coach

Actually I’ve always heard of a 5th wheel TH size referred to as “a rig”. Typically as they are the largest RV trailers and similar to a 18 wheeler hookup. Even you referred to the Luxe TH as a massive trailer almost like an 18 wheeler. 🙃👍🏻😎

If well taken care of and maintenance done regularly what is the life expectancy of one of these Luxe 5th wheels? We are considering buying one and will pay it off before we retire. Our problem is we aren't' looking to have to buy another one after retirement when money isn't as available. Too much money not to get our elderly years out of it.

First off, Prevost is NOT by itself, a Coach! When used in the RV industry, it is shipped as a platform with body attached unfinished to the particular dealer that ordered same. To compare RV Factory trailers to a finished Prevost COACH by say someone like Marathon Coach in Coburg, Oregon, is a total injustice and a grossly wrong comparison to the Prevost brand and ultimately,let's say Marathon Coach! Before you bring it up, I DO NOT work or know anybody that does or has worked in that particular segment of the industry!

Rubber, or whatever they call rubber in the industry. I love the Luxe but will not buy another RV with a rubber roof. Ever. Waiting for a fiberglass option.

I would love to see a mid bunk mid living room. I love the mid living room with the massive rear kitchen, people enter into the living room not the kitchen or hallway, but I have kids, so I need mid bunk with two beds and the loft above for the third kiddo. Maybe someday. Otherwise I will have to go with SpaceCraftmfg.com and order a custom unit. Thank you for your videos.

ahh Luxe fifth wheels. 10/10 in interior design but 2/10 in exterior design. Why do they make them look like a 2002 Montana (or any old school RV)? No front window caps, no smooth lines, everything is blocky and rigid. I can also put top suspension and disc brakes on a fifth wheel, but its the looks of it that will follow me around. At least the Vanleigh look well designed from the inside and the outside. Just a thought.
