There are 17 "Dead End" territories on this map, and a blizzard in any of them is totally innocuous because they are dead ends There are 16 "Nexus" territories, and none of them can ever be blizzards (unless you have stable portals) There are only 6 other territories, and so there are only 6 territories where a blizzard is impactful, and this game has one of them

I did a 5-player Fixed Capital Conquest on Arkeanos last night. One player bot'd from the start. Turn one saw two cap yoinks, including one by me on the bot. The guy yoinked bot'd too. I lost because I could never secure my bonus; almost every turn either the lead player or the bot-from-the-beginning (who for awhile had most territories and most armies) would break me.

Enough of these quick, spicy wins. Let's have some 10-hour stalemates!!😀
