Jeremy Wade has caught all of my favorite fish. Arapaimas, alligator gar, groupers, love this episode. The nile perch one was pretty awesome too

I liked the Murray cod episode he had a hard time locating them and only caught a small one but some people thought they could be extinct.Interesting aggressive fish.

Why would you even fish if you won't eat it. You are fine with torturing the animal for over an hour fighting it but really don't want to kill it. Hypocrisy at it's finest.

I loved 'River Monsters' when it was running on mainline TV. And whilst many of the fish were massive, some definitely weren't: What I also liked was that Jeremy often highlighted the fact that many of the monster fish of the past no longer exist due to overfishing... and that some otherwise harmless fish had become dangerous due to being introduced to non-native waters, and discovering the foods they were used to eating were either very scarce or non existent in their new habitats...

The name monster can also reflect smaller fish that have killed or injured people like the tiny puffer fish.sometimes he wasn't sure what the suspect fish was he was after.

Living the good life getting eaten alive by mosquitos at night. He got malaria. Accused of being a spy and almost arrested in Russia. Broke several ribs by an aripayma. His camera man was struck by lightning in south America. The list goes on. Most people couldn't handle his. ( good life )

You can catch or try to catch Goliath groper around any of the bridges in lee County Florida from Sanibel to bonita springs.They are there and they will surprisingly bite some pretty small bait for their size.
