"Now, one more time for old time sake! Right there, so the whole world can see it! This ain't wcw, this ain't Monday night raw, this ain't smackdown, this ain't even wwe. This, my friends, is EC F*CKING W!!"
HBK vs Eddie was supposed to happen at Mania 22 and was gonna be teased during the SD vs Raw match at Survivor Series 2005 but then the tragedy happened😔
@@phillip_lake12 I know what he meant. He's just saying that during that time HHH got a chance to wrestle Eddie for the title as SmackDown wrestlers on Raw (very rare), but yet there was so many chances for HHH and Rey to wrestle each other in singles matches but it just never happened.
@deadmanwalking5741 Maybe wrong but I’m pretty sure undertaker and Cena did some kinda small PPV feud when Cena was on the come up? I wouldn’t put them in with the others personally, they did do stuff just not at the right times in their career for it to be a big match.
@@underdogtv2855 you missed the part where it’s “Sports ENTERTAINMENT” everybody is not supposed to be a Kurt Angle, Eddie, Jericho, there is a place for powerhouse wrestlers they are like “SuperHeros” SMH Brother if you said that to me in highschool back in the day I’d show you a proper Hollywood Leg Drop, nWo style *BROTHER*
Smark spotted HHH was never been the face of WWE so why would you expect him to draw money taker also never drew money coz he was not the #1 guy but they helped build the buisness which you smarks won't understand he is easily one of the most famous wrestler of all time even more famous than HBK if you are considering the whole globe also HBK never drew money despite him being the face of WWE
Rey had the belt for how long??? VINCE AND HUNTER LIKE BIG ASS NEPHELIM MUFUKAS But Rey would BERIMBOLO around a giants leg climb up their caralho to the top of their CABEZA 🤯 and do a roda roda vira Flip them upside down 👇
Chose could be for multiple reasons one, is Rey was on smackdown a lot hhh, on raw, two timing between reps best says hhh, was evolution or the fall out of it. Then you had dx/ Vince fued. So that happened most if reys time on raw if I'm not wrong added in the Rey was going for WWE champion were hhh wanted heavy eight title didn't help cross paths as much.
@@lancenorman2632 I mean none of that matters from 2003-2014 if HHH once said hey I want to work with Rey it happens. Guys less important than HHH have gotten a match with who they wanted. This is just media spin
@Super Beno no my biggest point was saying hhh was more following the natural paths of evolution, the dissolve the dx, thing. Could he have gone out of way to get a match, sure ? Rey had his own thing going with Dave and his David vs. gaint. Then the whole Eddie stories, drama. I think hhh, like it and didn't want to wreck the stories by needless jumping in etc. I think they both involved in their stories that they never had time to intersect.
@EH-sx6do I’m not too sure actually. They did do odd things together like rumble and multi person matches and they both spoke highly of each other and seemingly get on well. I honestly think it was just the brand split for the most part. HHH was injured during Reys title run too. Don’t get me wrong I agree if he had seriously lobbied for a match he would have got one, but I don’t think they chose never to wrestle each other, it just seemed the timing was never right.
yep. its easy to assume its real except there is a massive line of people hes screwed over to maybe suggest hes not what he appears and maybe they also thought hes a good guy until they felt the knife.
@@endrsgm massive like? He only buried Booker T and there are dozens of talents he put over including the ovw 4(except Lesnar), Rock, Austin, Seth, Roman, Jericho, Jeff, Bryan you want to hear more he also helped many NXT guys but you CM punk marks still hate HHH
@@deadmanwalking5741 im not a huge cm punk fan, i think he is over rated, but he is one. mr kennedy and brett hart are a couple of others. rvd is another. oh, dont forget chyna. that was brutal what he did to her.
@@endrsgm Punk deserved that he always been a political figure backstage so I don't blame hunter and how in the world he buried Bret do you even know the meaning of burial Bret was still the top guy when he left WWE and it was Orton who buried Kennedy not HHH and how did HHH buried RVD he won the WWE title in ecw one night stand the only guy he didn't put over was booker t which I agree was hunter's fault but still it wasn't a burial coz booker got over with King booker gimmick unlike how Goldberg burial Bray and Bray still to this day hasn't recovered properly.
It is amazing when you think about people who never had a 1v1 match with each other. Trips and Rey, Shawn and Eddie, Shawn and The Rock, Kurt and Goldberg, list goes on.
Does the list really go on tho? Kurt and Goldberg sounds dreadful and HBK/Rock isn’t that surprising. They were never really around at the same time. As soon as Rock starting coming up HBK retired for seven years. Once HBK came back Rock left for Hollywood. HHH/Rey at least had the rumble, which was great. HBK/Eddie is the one true great matchup that could’ve happened that we never got.
@tonymarinelli5392 Angle and Goldberg in their prime could have pulled off a fun match. Sure Goldberg was never one to pull off 10 minute long technical matches, but Angle had the intensity and the ability to play to Goldberg's strengths and get a good match off him. Rock vs Michaels could have happened. HBK came back in 2002 and the Rock fully left for Hollywood in 2004. 2002 and 2003 were perfect times for them to have their match. Especially 2003 where Shawn and Rock were both on Raw. Sadly Shawn decided to have a feud with Trips for the next three years. Wrestlemania 20 would have been the perfect time. Last Wrestlemania for The Rock before he returned to feud with Cena, and Shawn was in a triple threat match he didn't even win. Just make that a one on one between Trips and [Redacted] and have Shawn vs Rock. Mick Foley can have a one on one match with Orton instead of a handicap match between Rock and Sock and Evolution. The only issue is The Rock had real heat with Shawn, because Michaels tried to kill his push before it happened. Trips and Rey may have met in the Rumble, but we never had a true one on one. The list does go on, I was just blanking on more at the time.
"Triple H is one of the greatest and most respected wrestlers of all time" Calm down there buddy, he exists...he's being doing it the longest...yeah that's about it...oh and he married the bosses daughter.
Imagine if Triple H didn't get traded back to RAW after being drafted to Smackdown in 2004? We could have had a great feud between Triple H and Rey Mysterio.
If you ask me, the 2006 royal rumble was them working together. They spent about an hour in the ring together teaming up and fighting each other at the same time. Still one of my favorite rumbles ever
If doctors say hhh has one more match in him and before rey mysterio can retire I reckon they should have a one on one and it should be at wrestlemania and make it a retirement match like flair and michaels
Would be a great match for sure. But at the same time HHH retired because of a problem with his heart so if it means keeping him healthy and safe by not wrestling again then I'm ok with that too.
My very first time watching Monday Night Raw had HHH saving Rey Mysterio from CM Punck back in 2010. Rey had always been my favorite superstar growing up!
HHH rivalry and his feud with superstar in his prime. Scott Steiner Bill Goldberg Stone Cold Steve Austin The Undertaker Shawn Michaels Mick Foley Hulk Hogan Chris Benoit Big Show Eddie Guerrero Brock Lesnar Kane Kevin Nash Booker T RVD Jeff Hardy Umaga Test Ric Flair Chris Jericho Edge The Great Khali John Cena Randy Orton Batista CM Punk Sheamus JBL The person who never facing HHH is Rey Mysterio and Evan Bourne and Gangrel and Big Bossman and Ken Shamrock and X-Pac and R-Truth and Drew McIntyre. It was 2007 Drew McIntyre made his debut and facing legends like The Undertaker and HHH for the first time Don't forget about Chavo Guerrero.
This is actually funny because this is NOT true. HHH has wrestled Rey Mysterio TWICE. Once in Royal Rumble 2006 and another on Saturday Night's Main Event 2006 in that handicap match with HHH and Cena vs Orton, Angle and Mysterio.
I think the timing was off. When Rey came in and got to the main event scene HHH was burying talent left right and centre and it wouldn’t have worked during his babyface run from 2006-2012. The only time I think we could have gotten main event face Mysterio against mega heel HHH would have been during the authority angle and the product was pretty unwatchable during that time so Vince absolutely would have screwed it up
You showed a picture of Jericho when you were mentioning the greats but didn’t say his name even though you named everyone else?! YOU JUST MADE THE LIST!!!!
Except they have ONCE It was at Saturday Nights Main Event I believe. Google: John Cena & HHH vs Randy, Kurt Angle and Rey Mysterio I saw it in a Wrestlemania 22 disc set I had as a kid. Loved it. Remember distinctly Rey almost getting his head torn off by HHH’s clothesline. Fun match
But wasn’t he and Rey Mysterio both on Smackdown from 2007 to 2008 cause I definitely remember them both being on Smackdown when Jeff Hardy was getting his Main Event push
There was segment in smackdown back in 2010 between rey and DX. HHH made a comment about rey's size and they couldve fought, but it was given to HBK instead. Wasted opportunity right there.
He never wrestled Rey? Didn’t they work a promo? Maybe I’m mistaken because I always thought they had a rivalry before because hes always fighting everyone known to man.
Whilst you showed an image of Chris Jericho you didn't mention him by name on your list. So guess what? YOU JUST MADE THE LIST!! And not a list you want to be on buddy! You know what list that is!
Cap. They wrestled at Saturday night me in event in a 3 v 2 tag match before mania 22. And they was #1 & 2 in the Royal rumble in 2006. They lasted to the end. They most deff worked together.
He actually got in the ring with Rey once in 2006 at Saturday Nights Main Event, when the raw wrestlemania main event wrestled the smack down main event. He clotheslined Rey once and folded him🤣🤣🤣
He easily could but it could only happen back during the Ruthless Aggression era. The only problem is HHH would most likely just bury Rey like he did with the rest of the roster. There's a reason why Smackdown during that time was lightyears ahead of Raw.
It would have been perfect just after Rey won the WHC. Hunter comes out to crash Rey's party, claiming his win was a fluke and proves nothing, that the WHC is for big guys, not little guys like Rey, only to end up getting his ass kicked and Rey retaining. Rey could have ended up going up against all of Evolution over a number of PPVs to prove he's worthy. It practically writes itself.
Actually they did wrestle in match once. They started 2006 Royal Rumble match, Triple H was entry number 1 and Rey Mysterio was number 2. And Rey Mysterio ended up winning the whole thing.
Do you know who Dave boss is?? Back then this mcman was a lot more stubborn And he had nothing but yes men around him If we as fans Can make dream matches that never happen Don't you think somebody came across him with this idea and I'm pretty sure he turned it down Just because The person he was in a person he still is Thinking something was best for business instead of letting the fans Riley behind it Just listen to CM park🤦🏾♂️🤦🏾♂️🤦🏾♂️
REY MYSTERio AND TRIPLE H HAVE WENT HEAD TO HEAD DURING THE 2006 ROYAL RUMBLE MATCH AND ALSO REY MYSTERio AND TRIPLE H HAVE TEAMED UP INFACT 6 MAN TAG TEAM MATCH REY MYSTERio EDGE TRIPLE H VS CM PUNK LUKE GALLOWS CHRIS Jericho FROM MONDAY NIGHT RAW 2010
UGH so just throw out the past stories now NO Triple h and rey would of been horrible team you think someone who teamed with edge the same guy who created team rated RKO should work with a DX member sheesh i guess DX is dead! RIP my favorite team.
