What a whirlwind couple of weeks, losing Scott Hall, HHH having to retire, Takers HOF and Austin's last match. It's like a true changing of the Old Guard.
@@JacksonOwex I think he's waiting for the HOF for that. I could see him for his solo induction after he finishes speaking: placing the water bottle on one arm rest of his throne; the sledgehammer on the other, with the world Heavyweight championship on the seat staring at his crown. It should be beautiful.
@@latortuganinja7184 Same. Wwe needs contact me to help coordinate for my GOAT'S festivities! The King of Kings has to celebrated like the ultimate Don he is!
This is extremely emotional! I grew watching Triple H, Taker, Hall, Nash, Michaels, and a lot of other guys! Now they're all at best retired, and worst dead! The wrestling I grew up watching was DEFINITELY different than it is now!
I’m reminded of when Triple appeared on the first season of Tough Enough and he told the contestants that he puts his body on the line everyday for the business and that he would gladly do it until he can do it no longer. Thank you, HHH, for keeping your word. Our childhood was awesome because of you!
Actually, JR would still call HHH "Helmsley" and Hunter well through the 2000s even after being a top guy. It was unique. I liked it. He wasn't always called Triple H in every match. And HHH was over in 97.
You will be missed TERRIBLY by me sir😭😭😭 I molded my weight lifting and life after you since 1999 when I aspired to become a professional wrestler. I did some of the training in 2000 and decided it wasn't my forte. I kept training in my effort to aspire to look like you aesthetically... I followed you since 1997 when DX began and I continued following you 25 years later. GOD bless you always!! Thank You for entertaining me through my mid 20's until my late 40's Mr. Paul Michael Levesque aka Triple H🙏🙏😭😭
Thank you Paul Levesque, aka Hunter Hearst Helmsly/Triple-H. You were an icon in the WWE. One of the véry select-few that could measure up to the Legendary Undertaker. Your input as a Wrestler, and today as a Manager in the WWE-empire are a statement to what you have ment for the business! "Its all about the Game, and how you play it!"
Triple H having Congestive Heart Failure is no Joke, i know i have been there! Seeing him retire is hard to take, but a needed step since he has an ICD (pacemaker/ defibulator) in his chest and the risk of dieing in the ring if he wrestled again. My hope is that he is on the transplant list and gets a strong heart implanted, it saved my life and with time HHH may be able to have 1 more match!
@@wildthing1631 he talked about it on an interview, he talked about his ejection fraction crashing at 12% and they put a pacemaker/defib/ICD put in to regulate his heart rate.
Without a doubt, one of the greatest heels in WWF/E history and perhaps once upon a time, a great heel in real life. Triple H is truly a G.O.A.T. I wish him a happy and fulfilling retirement.
My role model as a professional, my teenage hero, He carried the company for Soo long, best heel in history and the true CHAMP of our hearts. The big gold belt is so synonyms with HHH.
Big Gold and Winged AE belt. HHH is to pro wrestling what Brady is to the NFL. A once in a lifetime success story built on dedication, smarts, ability, and longevity. Faces that were so dominant for periods of time, they were hated. But after decades pass by, they slowly gain some respect and become liked. (Brady going to Tampa). HHH creating NXT.
@@arianareyes118 Yep. All the above for me: my GOAT, crush, hero. Check, check, check. I just ordered his 02 throwback shirt: Pain is Temporary. The Game is Forever. That's what he told us. And that's how I feel. 😔😔😔
@@arianareyes118 I have been on and off crying the past two weeks. When I calm down, a tribute gets me sad again. Then I see HHHaters speculating and lying about him and his condition. That pisses me off. I watch a clip or see fan art and I cry again. Same with his theme music. This hits so hard. 😭😭😭
Boy, you must have a boring life, quitting something because ONE person who was great retires! I still watch basketball and in my lifetime, even as short as it's been, there have been TWO people who most would consider "GOAT"s(I HATE that term because all sports change so much it's hard, virtually IMPOSSIBLE, to say who is "THE" best) that have retired and/or died!
If that so, that would be his 2nd Inductee to the WWE Hall of Fame like: Ric Flair, Shawn Michaels, Booker T, Bret "The Hitman" Hart, Hulk Hogan, Scott Hall (RIP), Kevin Nash, and X-Pac
Now I know how fans felt when hulk hogan, Andre, ric flair, iron sheik and others felt during their own retirements in the 90s giving their positions to hhh and HBk and others :((
Ye truth, if one day for whatever reason, HHH decide that he doesnt want to live anymore he should just start wrestling again. You realise he didnt retire because of old age like Taker because his body couldnt take anymore hits, for him its literally either stop wrestling or die. He have pacemaker so chance for him to ever wrestle again is not 0% its -100%.
@@abhishekghosh2686 Still nobody in WWE who has retired lately has done this. Not even Undertaker. So it's obvious that he saw Cody do it recently this year. WWE has clearly shown that they watch AEW on a regular basis, so it's no surprise. HHH been known to copy things out of other Wrestlers too.
You're right. With Austin's last match, Hall's death, taker retiring, and aew being a joke, it's a fitting end to the wrestling business. Cornette will keep it on life support as long as he can
@@JacksonOwex Makes sense. He's a classy guy and a traditionalist. Leaving the boots and putting the focus on the present. The speech (and I assume sledgehammer, crown, and throne) will resurface for his solo HOF induction.
Wtf kind of music is that at the end? Back in 2001, we had Motörhead playing live for HHH: and now we have this crap that’s considered music for triple H’s retirement? Jesus Christ
But does anybody ever REALLY retire? After seeing Edge, Flair and HBK all eventually return after "retiring", I'll believe it only if it holds true. You know this isnt the way Triple H wanted to end it. You know he would rather end it the way he wants to, with one final match on his terms. I dont think this is game over quite yet.
HHH is passionate and takes things very seriously. His ring and promo work. His level of being a fan, his respect for and love of history and tradition. He said in 2001 on tough enough about "living this business, breathing this business...and that I gladly do it and will continue to do it until I can do it no longer." Medically, he can't do it any longer. He also said in an article in 06, he "doesn't want to be Flair in that he wrestles well into his 50s." He was closer to being done than we thought. His medical crisis sped up the process.
@@Speedyreedy1218 Wait, didn't Edge and HBK say those same things? With all due respect, my point is that I dont think it will sit well with him not to go out on his own terms. We'll see how that plays out in the future.
@@rjcolombe While I get where you are coming from, in regards to HHH not going out on his own terms. However, the fact of the matter is that Hunter suffered a near fatal heart failure, as a result of a genetic condition that runs in his family. And as a result of that heart failure now has a defibrillator implanted in his chest, the chances of him getting medically cleared to wrestle are slim to none even if he wanted to get back in the ring.
@@TheBlackaddicus Exactly. That's an extreme risk that he does not wish to take, nor I think the company wants him to take. He is far more valuable to the company now for his mind, visionary and communication skills for projects going forward in the years to come. There's little value in taking a chance for one retirement match and HHH potentially suffers a cardiac episode or worse-by taking bumps in the ring. And God forbid he got paired with a young talent so worked up about working with him they get nervous and botch a move.
