How does your clasp work, On the 1st prx one? I bought one and the bracelet won't clasp unless i hold the button down, put it in and release to hold it down. Such an annoyance to do. Is this consistent across all others? Or i just got a bad clasp?
Hey buddy, oh that sounds like you got unlucky to me, I got this clasp now on 3 watches and all are closing by pressing them down without manipulating the buttons. Send a message to the seller and ask for a new clasp, its very easy to swap. I can make a video for swapping incase you need any assistance.
Thanks for you comment buddy, I can't really tell if there is any anti reflective coating or not to be honest on any of these 3 watches so I guess not then. But it hasn't bothered me, especially on the engineer with the white dial since the reflecting light wouldn't be that contrasting to a white dial anyways. However on my newer video I did an unboxing of two new watches, one which I can confirm has blue AR coating, check that video out 😉
Thank you for your support, I will make a deeper dive into the PRX 37 GMT, I believe that one deserves its own video since there are no other reviews, there I will explain in detail. But explaining over text: The problem was previously that the bracelets where sharp on the 90 degree transitions, the brushed finish wasnt enough to smooth down the transition, after contacting the seller, he decided to do all the PRX bracelets with polished sides, and the idea was that it would smooth out the transitionline and get rid of the problem. And yes, it is now not an issue at all anymore basically ;)
@@RIOLOGY Thanks for the detailed description. Good to see the factory is improving the finish, I would like to paymore to see them adding chamfered edges both upper amd under sides of the bracelet edges.
The one I have is listed as grey, in reality as shown in the video it looks to be uncolored and is matching the steel case and bracelet. The white one is more silver and slightly whiter in color. The renders don't do them justice, but there is review pictures of the white one from another buyer in the aliexpress listing. Hope this answers your question, if not then just reply to message
nice review! I love the GMT, it makes a good reason to get the hommage version, as not issued by Tissot. BTW I'd love to know how you polished the bracelet and the crown??? THXS!
So you brushed the crown of the 41mm, and will make a video of how to polish the crown of the GMT? Depending on personal preference, you might also polish the bezel of the GMT, to complement the dial.
@@bensynewsshoedown4999 Yes I brushed the crown on the PRX 41 in a circular pattern, and I will likely do the same to the GMT. As for the bezel I actually do like the bling it gives in contrast to the brushed case. However that could be an interesting idea for a stealthier look
Thanks for the 3in1 review, was helpful indeed. Be well mate. PS Got yourself a new sub. But got to ask, you're central european, right? But not German(?)... right again? Just a Greek guy here, Cretan in fact, cheers.
Happy to be of help buddy! Are you guessing based of my dialect? 😂 Welcome to the channel, will get you some more interesting videos in the future, always leave a comment if you would prefer to know or see anything
Good question, depends on what you mean, check out my latest video where I film the finishing very close up and compare to San Martin ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-lTgTKjABPj8.html
@@RIOLOGY and do you wear them outside? if so, how often? i just placed an order im afraid people might call me out for wearing an unknown brand.. but this is such a cool looking watch tho
@@ayeitsjay4283 Im wearing my watches everywhere 😊 I have never gotten a negative comment about my watches because of the brand name, almost no one know what is a brand name or not when it comes to watches. Nothing to worry about, on the contrary, most people gets impressed when I start explaining about the sapphire crystal or automatic movement, also when I let them try my watch most people are impressed that it weight more than they expected
@@RIOLOGY i see you recently did a give away of s$s watches, do you have more watches of that brand or you gave them all away? this will be my first mechanical watch and yeah i just dont know if im gonna regret buying this watch or not
@@ayeitsjay4283 I have many S&S watches still. For a first mechanical watch I recommend their PRX homages, they are exellent and they look classy. Any watch with NH35 or Miyota 8215 will be a safe bet
@@RIOLOGY the last 2 watches , do they have a better bracelet than the first one cause they are more expensive ? better polished no sharp edges ? or jus because of the extra gmt function you pay more ? also how long did you waited for the wacthes > thanks
@@casteltheghettomonk4392 hello Buddy! Good questions, so the GMT watch will be at the same standard as the first one in terms of finishing and overall quality. However the issues that was before has been solved for both the normal and GMT watch. So yes you are correct, you pay more for the GMT function because the movement is more expensive. For me I live in the EU, it usually takes the watches to arrive 7-14 days
@@RIOLOGY I don't need the GMT time zone, I will buy the first one but quartz ( automatic need too much maintenance) 😕 kinda crazy I live in the Balkans and always wait for like month and a half to 2 months and 1 week for a AliExpress package 📦 to arrive ...
@@casteltheghettomonk4392 yes the quartz seems also good looking to my opinion! I would recommend for you to first know if you want the 41mm or 37mm size quartz. I would recommend the 37 if you dont like big watches, but it is different in different cultures so you know the best! Ah 2 months+, thats crazy really... Maybe it has to do with slow import, I had these issues in my previous country too :/
@@SalvatoreDiazManrique i havent got it unfortunately, but if you have a small wrist I recommend the PRX 37 over the Nautilus because the PRX bracelet articulate better
Also for Tissots movement its not possible to repair the movement with original parts if you take it to anyone else but Tissot. Even Tissot will not repair it but swap the movement and give the customer a big bill. For the Miyota and NH movements anyone can source original parts or the whole movement itself for very cheap. Cheaper than servicing it after 20 years
I wouldn't buy a homage to a Tissot Prx but the original. The watch is comparatively cheap at €650-700 and the price-performance ratio is great. With the IWC Ingenieur, the original costs around 15,000 euros, a homage for 70-150 euros is ok.
Still €90-110 is much less than €650. If difference was 100-200 euros then I would agreed but this way I need to disagree with you. And I even don't like PRX nor any watch with integrated bracelet.
@@Tom_Kowalczuk Have you ever had an original Tissot prx watch on your wrist? I just said that the watch is relatively cheap at €650, in contrast to a Rolex which costs an average of €10,000 or an IWC for €15,000. I'd rather have an original watch for €650 and I meant in relation to a Rolex or IWC which most people can't afford. and if I'm going to buy a fake watch then of course I'll take the Rolex or Patek Philippe or IWC and not a Tissot.😄
@@sharkan01 I have Tissot Gentelman. Forgot to add that I'm not a fan of PRX or any intergraded bracelet models regardles of brand. Not buying fake watches, stick to Seiko 5 althought just purchased Boldr Venture.
@@RIOLOGY They say that this design sometimes doesn't fit well on thin wrists... That discourages me. I would only have to try the Nautilus by Specht & Sohne Quartz and see how it goes...
Also the design is beyond 50 years old, no design patents are active and on top of that the design is not orginial to tissot but many brands have had this same design back in the 1970s and 80s
