it starts out well, but then there's a lot of segments where you can hear where it was split (mainly after sunky and speedrunner mario's segment) there's also a couple instances where the instrumentals overlap poorly, sounding like a heated argument. there's even parts where the volume suddenly shifts, and where the instrumentals dont overlap well (mostly in the exe segments) otherwise, this cover mix is pretty decent
I'm really a big fan of Sonic. And when I see that they've done something with Sonic that has Mario in it. I love to see the result of this, be it bad or good, and this cover is perfect with both.
Dialogue in my opinion. Mario: So, Sonic, this "Sonic.EXE" has teamed up with-a MX, my evil counterpart. Shall we set aside our differences and work together? Sonic: Yeah. Let's do this, Mario. Xenophane Sonic.EXE: *TRY TO STOP US!* MX: *WE ARE GODS!* *mashup starts*
Aftermath: Mario: We-a did it, sonic. Sonic: Yep. *under his breath* I'm better though. (Mario hears Sonic saying he was better) Mario: WHAT?! SAYS THE NAKED HEDGEHOG WHO CAN'T-A SWIM!! Nintendo: There they go again. Sega: Man, I was hoping they'd become friends so we could sell games with both Mario AND sonic, it would have made so much money. Nintendo: Agreed. (I know this is lengthy but this is the Aftermath of the song and with made-up dialog.)
I imagine both Majin and Sonic going “lol we both are cool” and 64 mario and mario going “lol we are literally the same exact person from the same universe”
History: Mario and Sonic got into The Sonic 3 game to fix the green Knuckles bug. But in the way they battle Mario PC Port, lord x, 2 M64 Marios, majin, xenophanes and sunky
Sonic: Sega does what Nintendont! Mario: Nintendo has more staying power than Sega... instead of fighting why don't we team up? Sonic: sounds fine, just don't slow me down old man! Mario: heh...LETS-A GO!
Sunky & Speedrunner Mario - Super Shitposts Majin & Beta Mario - Sneaky Secrets Lord X & Majin Mario - Fully Fanmade Xenophane & MX - Commendable Creepypastas
@@anvile252 he's possesed by one, but in the end that thing isn't really malicious, just *really* dedicated to it's goal of speed to the point that it'll go through anyone that'll try and stand in it's way. And I think it was exorcised from him too
Time a little better the duet sections between the sonics and the marios, use one intrumental instead of two which have different sound quality and edit some parts so the characters have the same volume and you are perfect to go
Somehow, I just realized this Sunky and speedrunner Mario are the ultra powerful and frankly derpy looking versions of Mario and sonic Beta Mario and majin sonic are things that came from the earlier days of sonic and Mario (like around the early to mid 1990’s) Lord X and majin Mario have laughs that are amazing
I love how Sonic.Exe and Mario 85 are different. For example Sonic.Exe just likes to be terrifying and play around with his victims for fun before killing them Mario 85 however he basically is just Mario? But for some reason he turns into this big Mario creature and then hops really high and chases after the Protagonist, Lucas.
I can see this being remastered, with Mario Madness being made with quite a few things that can be used. For example, with the Knuckles part, you can change it to Mario.EXE instead of...I assume his name is "Beta Mario" or something, idk. With the Eggman part, switch...again, I don't know that Mario's name, but switch him out for Gameboy'd. Change MX's vocals and sprites with the ones from Mario Madness, which is a no-brainer. And keep Speedrunner Mario, he fits amazingly well with Sunky
Speedrunner Mario is from a ridiculously funny channel called @TerminalMontage. I highly suggest you check it out. Sunky is canonically (and ironically) the most powerful character in the Sonic.exe FNF mod, which is also amazing. Majin Sonic is technically the first case of a self-inserted Sonic OC, and he's called Majin Sonic because he was created by an artist who went by the name Majin. Majin Sonic was just intended to be the aforementioned artist's face upon Sonic. However, I bet it didn't turn out as he hoped. The uncanny artwork combined with the dark background and creepy music made Majin's test a rather creepy Easter egg.
One of the biggest gripes I have with this version. The two vocal tracks seem to have different audio levels and syncing. So its really jarring when they switch as the audio gets Louder/quieter spontaneously and the timing signiture changes very slightly, its just enough to bother me
