Sorry about your back pain Val. I agree that some routine stretches for about 5-10mins at the start and end of your day will help. I suffer from the same after having my kids. I have to stretch, use tiger balm and ice pack’s regularly. It’s a nightmare. Of course the upside is that your such an amazing creative soul and we love watching you and talking to you through your videos. This is going down as my favorite set you’ve done. Instant watch after seeing the thumbnail. 💓💓

Before I had kids my sciatica pain was SO bad but something that did provide some relief was doing core workouts and other workouts that target your back&hips! It takes time but I hope the stretching provides you relief that pain is no joke! It can be difficult to set time aside for yourself and to create a new routine but I hope you can get there!

I've been a nail technician since 1989 and even though I walked regularly, my back is completely shot, I had surgery this last year but it didn't take. .. I have to have another this yr but they will be putting in rods and screws ... Do whatever you have to do to keep your back healthy. . awesome work ❤

Sorry to hear about your back. It’s important that you stop to stand up and stretch at least every 45 minutes if you’re going to be sitting for long periods of time. Sitting for too long can also cause heart problems. If you have one, use a firm pillow to support your lower back while sitting. I hope that helps.

So sorry to hear about your back. It affects everything you do. I know you probably don't swim, but that's the best thing you could do. It's not weight bearing & you stretch your entire body. Also, invest in a good chair, if you can find one. The nails are beautiful!💜

Hey Val I have a super bad back and dancing and gymnastics 🤸‍♀️ from 2-25 definitely didn’t help it at all I e got lupus and mixed connective tissue disease but what ur describing definitely sounds like sciatica 😢😢yoga and stretching daily helping a lot and after take a nice hot bath then repeat daily if it doesn’t help go see a pain management doctor they have injections u have to do first the they can do rfa radio frequency and let me tell u it helps so so so much good luck luv 😊😊

Tori, I am sorry to hear about your medical problems, I also have a bad back from car accidents, and now have fibermyalgia. Can you tell me about this radio wave, treatment. I have never heard of such a thing... Been to many pain clinics and Dr.s, and through a lot of injections, not sure they were any help... I am in Canada, that might be why I have never of radio waves.. lol 😊

I was starting to wonder why no video from you... I keep checking the channel, thinking I just wasn't getting notified. So sorry to hear it's a medical/pain issue... It is a big problem for nail techs, all the sitting we do, and most days your just, back to back with clients, you just dont have those 10 min. for stretches... usually we don't even have time to pee... lol Being a press on lady now, you have to remember to take the time for yourself... Maybe set an alarm, for in between sets, to do some stretching, or a walk... Or to pee lol Would an extra cushion or pillow help until you can find a better chair? A good chair is a must, and a struggle to find, especially if your small. I know, I have been looking for decades. Finding something that supports your back, and your feet can touch the ground is next to impossible, when your under 5 feet tall. I'm 4"10, I fit nothing... 😔 It sucks... lol Take Care of yourself... I look forward to your next video... When your up to it .. 😊

@@Nailsslayedbyval Being small I find the ones with the mesh lower back support the best. Oh, and I put one of those little stools, from the dollar store, under my feet. It's the only way, I can simulate touching the ground. I did find a chair like that, with removable arms (cause we can't have arms) at Walmart, last Christmas. It was on sale for $150. That's probably $60. for you. It's regular stock, online, so maybe look online and see if you can find it, and of course like it... I hope that helps, 😊

Definitely wanna recreate! Also could u do a video where u show ur camera set ups and how you edit your videos? I personally started using cap cut but it doesn't take me hours and u had mentioned it takes u hours to edit so I'm wondering what I'm doing wrong or what I can do to make them better. Can't really find any other videos on RU-vid regarding this to press on nails and its frustrating. I have to do a voice over too because I have a 2yr old little girl.
