Good to see you back.. What is the best and worst miles per gallon you've had on your ST.

I went through two stator/RR sets on my '03 ST before I got wise and replaced the stock crap shunt-type with a series type RR. I used a SH847AA. I had to install it on the rear, pretty much opposite of the coolant tank, right above the rear foot peg. THis unit is a bit larger than stock RR. Search for the username "Gravity" on the forum, or for a bunch of really helpful stuff, search for DEcosse. You'll need to use that soldering station you have in your shed to use it, but it'll be worth it.

The beginnings of a proper man-cave. Q: If you saw a listing on eBay/Craigslist etc., looking to swap a bike for your ST, what bike would it have to be that you wouldn't even hesitate to swap?

Should check/test the stator as well, i bought a new reg for mine thinking it was that but turned out to be the stator. On the plus side my entire charging system is new now inc the battery. Nice man cave by the way, can't wait to have my own space like that.

Shame about the Bike. As long as you can kneel besides the bike, thats the minimum size i reckon. Question - where's the Fridge, Wood Heater, Gear Cupboard, Spray Booth, 4 Post car hoist, Parts Bin, Sexy posters....etc? Surely you can fit them in as well...? Good luck with the repair. ( I HATE Electrics!!) >:P
