Actually I flew the new 787-9 Egyptair from Cairo to Frankfurt bound for London. It was one of the best flights I have ever took since I moved to the UK in 2005 and it was the first time I use Egyptair...Well done Egyptair
I flew MS first class in the 80s. Salad dressings were offered in the shop bottle and some had very little in them. I ended up having to slap the bottle many times to get sauce out like you would do at home. We had a great laugh with the crew about it who were really sweet.
I suggests that you guys should do seat width (space BETWEEN THE ARMRESTS) review/critique. It is just as important as legroom as it affects the quality of sleep/comfort especially on long-haul. Your reviews are already great and helpful for us economy travelers and I think adding the seat width review will only make it even more perfect. Thanks a lot.
For Economy, I'd call that pretty good! They served a full dinner on a 4-hour flight and there were outlets at each seat. You don't need a lot of IFE for just four hours, so it was quite adequate.

I always try to avoid the JFK to Cairo route since I don't really like Egypt Air, I always have to make a stop somewhere in Europe. Maybe I'll give them one more shot since their new 787's are much improved. Thanks for the trip report!
Garuda Indonesia's newest A330 300 and the Boeing 777 300 has its own foot rest in each economy seats. The ones u get at an A330 300 of garuda is renovated
I see a lot of these Egypt Air 787-9 @PAE in the delivery center flight line. Also a ton of Biman Bangladesh 787-9 as well. Great to see the inside for once. It is cool watching them test these beautiful birds though.

Seen from the passanger view the tinted windows are a big thumbs down to me, I really enjoy looking out of the window during flights - it's still the best Entertainment for me. And the fact that the crew can override the controls made it even worse. Great Video as always. PS.: I would really appreciate if you could try to get a flight with Sundair someday.

I'm surprised you didn't review the Star Alliance lounge at CDG which you should have access to flying Economy with EgyptAir (supposing you have *Gold status).
