The flight attendant is so educating and polite always with a smile, the airplane theme is amazing, the new safety video, all service... everything is amazing! O nível de gentileza e atenção que você tem nas companhias aéreas orientais em geral (com exceção das chinesas e filipinas, pelo que vejo) é impressionante. Não só nas japonesas, mas na Thai, Singapore, Korean Air, Asiana, até na Garuda Indonesia, que é de um país muito pobre. Não é à toa que várias delas estão entre as melhores do mundo e têm cinco estrelas do Skytrax.
@@codenomesailorv, é, mas esse é outro aspecto da cultura deles, e não é só na aviação. Eles estão acostumados a serem pressionados de todas as formas e de todos os lados desde pequenininhos. Já começa em casa, com uma pressão brutal dos pais para os filhos terem um rendimento escolar não menos que excelente. Até certo ponto é compreensível e até elogiável, mas muitas vezes eles extrapolam e é por isso que o Japão tem o maior índice de suicídio de adolescentes do mundo.
It's quite calming to see the ground crew wave at the plane to say goodbye or safe journeys (7:21). Apparently it's only standard on Japan's airports as well as a few other airports ANA serves...

I know you had been Japan few times and made great trip reports for some Japanese air carriers. Hope you had a great staying in Japan this time too. That looked like a great flight! I love when airlines have those special liveries. The food combinations seemed a bit bizarre but awesome at the same time!

Wow, double lucky! Inaugural flight, and ending up in Tokyo. That looked like a very comfortable economy flight, indeed. Japan is at the top of my bucket list destinations. I hope you had an amazing time!!!
I just recently flew ANA from Seattle to Narita on the 787-9 and loved the flight! Such a positive experience. I went with the Japanese food options for both meals because why not when you’re flying on a Japanese airline. I also had the luxury of flying a domestic ANA flight on a 777 up from Haneda to New Chitose which to my surprise was PACKED for the hour and twenty minute flight. I hope to fly them again soon!

Ahh... you makes me so nostalgic with this tripreport. I was flying with ANA not even that long ago, because it was in October. I was flying HND-ITM and ITM-HND-CDG. On my first and domestic flight I've got a jackpot - 777 with Star Wars theme C-3PO. My return flight to Tokyo was with another special livery - Tokyo 2020 :) On my final flight to Paris I was amazed with service onboard. I've never got so many food and drink in economy. My tray was even too big for the table :D I didn't finished my meal yet and flight attendand already served me another corn soup, kabosu drink, ice creams and cookies :D Crew in ANA is just PHENOMENAL. Always eager to help, smiling and extremely polite. ANA is world class!
Great review as always, but especially this time as I was flying ANA's Stars Wars B777 JA789A on NH224 FRA-HND just 2 weeks ago and just came back from HND yesterday ;)
I've only flown ANA once because I normally don't fly Star Alliance. But I have to say their service is one of the best I've ever experienced on any flight. My flight was 14.5 hours long and the service was excellent from start to finish.

Excellent trip report! What I love the most on ANA flights is the Udon noodle served in the meal. It's so lucky of you to get a Star Wars livery aircraft on an inaugural flight. They gave you so many gifts.
Again, Nice work on the videos! I used to live in japan before I moved where I am now so it's good too see my airport all over again. I will be going to japan on an A350 to go to Haneda. It's feels good to know that my Favorite youtuber was in the same airport that I will be in this summer.

I went on that exact plane from duseldorf - Germany to Narita airport- Japan ANA is my favourite airline I also went on the 787 r2d2. And I can't wait to go to Japan next year

I was also flying to Tokio haneda with a boeing 787 dreamliner, but it wasn't one of these special ones...but I made a great picture at the airport with both on one picture, that was cool! I really can recommend ANA... I also liked the safety instructions video, it's funny.

5:34 is because the word "drama" (ドラマ) is being used as a generic term for "TV series" in Japan (en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Japanese_television_drama ). Someone should tell ANA that this is not the case in other countries though...
That's odd. ANA used to be the only airline in the world to operate 8 abreast 787's. looking at the shot at 6.09, it seems that they reverted to the dreaded sardine can 9 configuration.
