I wish I spoke Dutch or Swiss. So great to hear the beautiful Vanja Slajh speak and see her laugh and smile. Always great to see Tom - Long Live TGW and Tryptikon!

X3RUBIM it is true that there's no "Swiss" language, but the German spoken in Switzerland is so different from "German" German that I can barely understand it :) and that's a good thing, I appreciate regional/cultural differences, including language. It's actually quite cool that German-speaking Switzerland is so close to Germany and yet the German spoken there has become *almost* a separate language.

And yes of course I know that German is only 1 of 4 official languages in Switzerland, just to make it clear haha. I still have never met a Romansh speaker, but I hope to!

At last an interview with the Goddess Vanja!!! Did not understand a word of it but who cares!! This is the most spectacular I have seen her look! And, she pounds out all of my Triptykon & old Celtic Frost favorites to boot!

+JACKAL5002 well there are a couple other metal bands (Armageddon from Sweden and Chthonic from Taiwan) which also have female bassists in an almost all guys band. So not too band. bad

Coming here years late, but I just so happened to be enjoying Melana Chasmata all the way through. On headphones with no humans surrounding and coffee growing cold as I immerse myself in the album's dimensions. I do this with all of Celtic Frost and Triptykon's music the very moment the weather begins to drop that 30 degrees and Autumn begins. I have never ever ever seen Tom so happy. I don't know if there is something happening just with his own soul on his own terms, or if there is something truly special between him and Vanja. It doesn't have to be romantic or even friendship. It's possibly just the creative relationship and nothing at all more. But his smile is impossibly big and nonstop. He sits closer to her, and seems more comfortable even than he was with Martin who he counted as his closest friend. It may already be over as I type this, but I'm glad to see him so bright as he appears here.

Ahhh Vanja ist ja toll, super Erscheinung. Laßt die Frau doch bitte beim nächsten Interview mehr als nur 2 Sätze sagen und dann das Mikro halten, ihr lieben Rock Hardys. Auch wenn Tom viel zu erzählen hat ;)

CELTIC FROST aber jetzt erwachsen. Cold Lake Meiner meinung nach das beste album. Ich kann kein Deutsch, aber ich wollte dir Respekt zeigen. Ich kann Russisch und Ukrainisch sprechen, ich bin Ukrainer.

Ja, Tom und Vanja sprechen auf Deutsch, Triptykon is ganz gut. I don't speak German very well,but I can understand what they're talking about. There is no such language as Swiss, in Switzerland, they speak German.

Nope, we talk swiss german. Its different from German. Swiss people understand the german but germans only parts of our language. But in Switzerland we have 4 languages and about 6 totally different accents in each. Cheese, choccolate and languages, yup
