Canadian Prepper, here's a video about how the Nation Debt works in the U.S. Graham explains it pretty well. ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-xayR_KRFfkc.html He also has a video from a about a year ago that he goes into some other aspects of it.
In minute 9 of March 4ths video you said you'd be talking about black swan events in this video. What changed your mind? Do you not want to inform your listeners that there is a vey real and currently present sliver squeeze going on that is silenced by the MSM? That is the black swan event of the century, and it heralds a HUGE market correction
@@arthurserkov9614 True enough. The time is now! We can watch this happen or we can fight! Peacefully, law abiding, and fully justifying . We will rally .. Let’s just be Canadians eh ?
It's alot more fun to put it yourself together mate, I think that's half the fun. That being said, of course there is a market for full kits, the problem is they will be like 300$ lol
Weird everything I have fished pike without a leader using mono its snappity snap, never had the issue with braided. In fact I use 1 lure, nonleader over over with no issues but right when I mono its by bye lure!
Put a small flash light in the pouch. When it's dark. And a small knife. To cut the lines. Then you have EVERYTHING you need to put up the trip wire in one place. Håkan from Sweden.
I bought a knife with a built-in LED light that also has a small rope cutter suitable for rope and string up to paracord in size. It's in my get-home bag. It's not my main flashlight, but it provides working light in a pinch without being too bright.
@@WardenWolf there's a folding knife called the " GF thunder" or something that's a cheap design and comes with a bright light, a small ferro rod, a small seatbelt cutter ( or wire cutter" and a pretty nice blade. I think it would be perfect for this situation!
@@WardenWolf I used an old thieves trick and put duct tape over, but not on, most of the lens, so it is only a pinhole. I rigged it so I can pull the tape off easily but I get plenty of light that doesnt splash all over the place.
Hmmmm... I'm thinking that in the woods the deer, moose, wild pigs or other foraging creatures would set these off at night. But these trip wires might be useful on rooftops or fire escapes or balconies used against human intruders during grid down in the city.
With trail cams , I was shocked to see how many animals are walking around at night. They will set off these alarms like crazy....you will NEVER have a "peaceful "sleep.
to be fair, if SHTF and the grid drops there won't be much wild life anywhere. In America we use about 60% of our land for COWS to feed the people. The worst effect of grid down will be starvation.
Also you can use a mouse trap to make tripwire alarms. Great video tho. Edit: the way you make it is 1: drill a hole in the end of the mouse trap on the edge of the kill band. 2: attack string to the trigger 3 put in the blank and set up the tripwire 4 enjoy your tripwire *note the sting does not come off unless it is a bunny knot.
Those bobbins are called FLEX or EZ BOBBINS, and you should carry some of them that are empty, so we can fill them with the cordage we want. I know Kevlar is the "COOL" cordage to carry, but for everyday carry and use, no one is cutting Kevlar when all they need is just a few feet, but what the hell do I know. Keep up the great work.
I'm sure there must be some Vietnamese DIY handbook of jungle traps out there somewhere. "I learned a thing or two from Charlie, don't ya know? You better stay away from Copperhead Road."
Can u do a video on rv living and prepping? My fiancee, our 75lbs dog and I r having to do this out of necessity and I'm trying to make the best out of this situation.
It's good to have a few so you know which direction its triggered from. I use m69 grenade fuses. The tops of them. Nail them into a tree. There cheap & get the job done. I'd like 4 of these fithops. There more streamlined & can go in a pack easy like this.
A Thermal sensor like the AMG8833 thermal 8x8 sensor would make for a nice microcontroller project such as a low powered Arduino or Raspberry Pi (with high lumen LED or selectable Infrared LED) with a radio alarm to the main central controller alarm and pull switch for the perimeter cord to light up the intruder for use with NODs to get the drop on the intruder.
That reminds me I haven't went through my emergency bag in year's I need to check everything in it, there might be stuff in there to up date and change out the water has been sitting for year's I figure I would test the water to see if it is good to drink sitting for that long
That's good... You can not use it if everyhing is stuck together and corroded(.flaslights and electronics 2 way radios take the batts out and put in dry ziplock bag with dessicant bags)....
DON'T FORGET "old school" perimeter defense - like "punji sticks". Sharpened sticks, cut from tree branches, and dipped in dog / cat / horse / cow dung, have a DUAL PURPOSE: (1) disable enemies with painful foot injury & infection, and (2) ALARM - as the unlucky SOB screams his head off !
And if you use them they will most likely become the property of your attacker so you better buy a bunch of them. If not, get a few spools of that thin clear fishing monofilament and a few tin cans to drop if the trip wire is touched. If it's a large group you are avoiding, you can abandon them and run as you have more for the next set up. Also, get one of those single sided razor blade packs that have a few hundred blades and a stack of 20 will take up little space and will last a real long time.
I love the kit, only one downside and it is worth it nevertheless when someone trips it and they hear that pop they might start panic firing if they're armed cuz it is going to scare the holy crap out of them that's pretty much the idea, all besides the panic fire.I do believe if you would make the entire kit it would sell greatly I would purchase one or two.
Interesting kit - super helpful in very specific situations. I'm imagining us setting up all those tripwires ... and then the predator launches a grenade from afar. :)
🤔🤔 Something to ponder on is getting a vox voice activated recorder ultra small (small matches size)because if you’re having to use a trip wire security system to wait for an engagement. When the engagement happens you can have an earwitness if a gun play happens. After all if you stated that you are armed and scared for your life you are putting everyone on notice including the court room that you are the good guy. After all intent goes along way and most folks don’t have or think of a tripwire system for securing a perimeter.Makes it a little bit more difficult if a anti-gun dirtbag district attorney tries to financially suicide you in ladder legal cost judgments to stay out of jail. But it’s your option to bring this ear tooled witness to Court room unknown if it should be left on the scene or removed immediately to be given to your lawyer🤔🤫.
Dog bark motion sensor alarm. Motion sensor sends signal to home unit that has a vicious dog bark as the alerting mechanism. My problem...spider decides to build a web in front of the sending unit... :)
I would add glow sticks. You may want a more covert means of detecting movement. If you are in an area with higher than normal threat levels. you may not want to make your presents known with a bang. Using a glowstick on a trip wire could be a better option for detecting movement. Say to your rear or flanks.
I bought some off amazon that take the 22 cals from the cement nailers, they work great. But I also went to the dollar store and they those alarms for 1 dollar which have a loud siren when its separated and that works great also.
A young boy was ripped from his tent and mauled to death in front of his parents near where my family camps. I don't take perimeter security lightly anymore when in the mountains.
Can we talk about the pack the dog is wearing? I've been looking for something like that for my dog with no luck other than pink bows and life jackets.
Primers!! You are lucky in Canada. You can get them. Walk into almost any store in USA and they are sold out! You can buy them on auction websites for literally 10 times the amount. Small pistol primers for 1000 are at about $300 to $350. So about $35 to $39 for a box of 100.
Last March I was warning my American friends to be ready for shortage in EVERYTHING you had 9 million NEW firearm owners ,20 million new firearms Who buys a firearm with a single box of ammo? No one . Preppers were "prepping" even more. new shooters had to learn how to use their new firesticks..ammo makers are working 24/7 luckily that the US didn't start a new war during last year, matter of fact the US Army probably used much, much less ammo. It's all public buying..
@@johnturner5893 I hear you. My radar went up in January when I saw Covid jump from China to Japan and a couple weeks later Germany had proven asymptotic cases. I decided to stop to buying ammo and just get back into reloading around March. Imagine if you bought 10k in primers in January 2020, you could sell them for 100k now. Supply and demand is what we all have to prepare ourselves for. Buy everything now with what you can afford. Because you may not be able to find it, or afford it later.
Love the idea. I actually compartmentalize my BoB. A red bag with med gear. Dry & emp proof for comms. Black for tools....including trip wires similar to these, bolt cutters, pry bar, lock pick, etc.
I still say, get hold of some actual trip wire, availible from military surplus sites. Cheaper, and stronger. Mono fishing line stretches over a foot and can be detectable because of that or not set off the alarm.
Independent of your videos, I happened to just discover those tripwire devices when I was shopping for some specialty shotgun ammo just a few weeks ago. I'm curious as to what kind of waterproofing or rain-sheltering steps might have to be made.
Anyone remember that old Doomsday prepper episode from a decade ago where the guy used a mousetrap and a glowstick in a similar way? I liked the glowstick idea, especially if you had multiple tripwires set up. If the sound echos you might not know which way the threat is coming from. Some sort of light as a visual aid would help you avoid going in the wrong direction.
I've had my mini maxpedition kit setup for EDC everyday since I got out of the military....it's my man purse, call it what you want, but it's made of absolute quality materials, it holds my wallet, checkbook, knives, waterproof matches, pen, pad, multitool, handcuff key, firestarter, ect. It fits in a big pocket, YKK zips and I carabinier it shut. Best decision I've made, I gotta checkout these portable alarms now lol, man am I a sucker for all of this! I don't want to call it tactical, or being a veteran, Prepper comes with it's associations ( although as you know, seems to be the safest and least harmful title), so what do I "call" myself so that that society( not all of it, I know alot of the people who are reading this are probably guys like me) wont immediately declare dangerous , insane, or racist. I'm just a good guy trying to have fun and keep my people safe?
I love the kit and I think it should be something that you guys carry because I would purchase that kit. Right now I make my own perimeter alarms and it takes a lot to do out of black gas pipe thanks for this video and the other one they were both very informative keep up the good work
@ Peggy Bailey.... you'd be surprised at how easily you can still get them via mail-order sites.... especially ones that sell blank-firing pistols and such....
Actually been looking for a place to get these. Should come in a 3 or 5 pack tho not just singles. Great for camping in Alberta when the bears are out and you don’t want to pack the electric fence around...
Being relatively new to prepping and doing as much as I can afford, (the bills come first), the only improvement I can think of is if the kit were mine...😁 keep up the good work...
I have fithops for 12g with 209 primer and 22lr adapter. your kit allows only one type of ignition. mine is three varieties. in a real shtf situation you may run short on one or the other ammo, but still function.
I'd like to see you sponsor a UK Prepper channel. We can't really do shit, and it's a good space to be taken advantage of. I'd do it for myself but I have Uni to focus on
What are your thoughts on multitools? Like Swiss Army Knives? Leatherman? etc. I just got a Victorinox RangerGrip 58 Hunter not long ago. How about watches with Altimeter, Barometer, Thermometer and Compass (plus other features) all in one, like Casio PRG330 ? I was thinking about getting it. I bought a cheap "ABC" watch to test first: the Skmei 1358 for $33 on Amazon.
Like the idea, but... Can it start a fire? Yes! Too expensive, yes. Machined parts, I understand the price, but there are cheaper alternatives....a simple brass bell or old low tech use cans. Anything, that will make noise. High tech, motion detectors battery powered. Modified Eagle Eye x10 detectors. Get creative. $35 each for these trip alarms on Amazon is too expensive. If the price was around $15 I would buy 6 or more. You can’t build a perimeter with only 4. Not to mention if these trip alarms are close by and they go BANG while I’m sleeping, I’m probably going to have a heart attack. Smiling...
Great Gear/Kit! but Illegal here in Oz, Be Jail time if your caught using some trip wire alarm using, percussion ,primers or blank rounds eg. 22 rimfire. The device to hold the primer etc. is illegal here. For those with a genuine need?? with a firearms Lic. equipment like .speargun scew on powerhead, a flare gun, a starters pistol that fires blanks, etc. could pass a genuine need requirement, with Conditions? attached to own or use? Each item would have to pass Police scrutiny, an be Serialised with a Number and Registered with a govt. Fee! Paid. so on an so forth? All To Hard Now maybe a Movable quick set up Electric Stock control fence may offer a Big deterent!. Farmers here use these all the time to move Stock/Cattle ,Sheep etc. close to major/ minor roadways an verges. They quick to set up, an Farmers/Pastoralists ride on quad bikes an set them up on the Go. Controls Large stock to, Bulls etc. Just my Thoughts, Cheers!
that is a good kit to have in your survival backpack!!! thank you for the good idea canadian prepper!!! keep up the good work you do for us to watch these video's everyday!!!!
Well that's the whole point, nobody is going to be an expert from day one and even if you become an expert you have to keep rehoning your razor sharp skills otherwise they will become dull and rusty, your fitness level will deteriorate and you'll overestimate what you can currently do physically and your moral will rapidly drop when reality sets in and you aren't the expert you used to be
Good idea....:) Doesn't seem very practical though.... Animals would be tripping it all the time I would think.... When it's an actual intruder you'll be numb to the noise and it will start to become a nuisance.... Hope your not trying to hunt to survive, because there won't be a deer within 100 miles once that goes off....:)
What was the reason for wrapping the piece of branch with the Kevlar wire? Couldn’t you run it directly to the primer device? This would be very helpful when I’m camping in the woods. Thanks...
The automatic fishing reel known as the fishing yo-yos work very good for trip lines as well as everything else are good for. Just change the string in it to black-colored bankline.
Here is a video response to your question, how can I improve this kit.ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-69YX9gs2S4A.html If you have any questions on the manuals or books for boobytraps and detection systems etc.. feel free to message me or post reply here or in the video for more info.
Make up a completed kit I would add a sbliminal led light that triggers with a trip line If you are hiding away in a building and a primer goes off, that is sure evidence there’s someone inside That also ups their situational awareness because you are now escalated to a “professional” and they will be coming in hard..... Soft warning will give u time to move to another room or scoot the back door (non obvious exit) The incoming will be more “relaxed” because they were not overtly alerted to your presence Escape and evade means you want to be gone by the time they get to your place, not necessarily having to fight your way out Urban environment is very different in shtf scenarios.... Any noise, especialy shots fired attracts either other predators or the rest of the platoon Being a one man situation or family man with kids you don’t necessarily want to go pew pew head to head if you can avoid it A running battle with wife and kids is not a good sotuation to be in And comments like “they will have to pry my fire arm out of my lifeless hands...” does not help your wife and kids left behind to 2 legged social predators..... Just something from a ret vet in his 60’s that will rather escape and evade untill you have to engage Will rather be gone than wasting 200 rounds on a needless fight Oh yes, the old bones dont move too well anymore. But with all the hi tech stuff out there, the only thing an old vet can teach you younger guys is : How to become an older vet Keep up the good work man And dont take note of the stupid comments Untill they go - do They should just reserve the comments for their followers The Bible says : Even a fool when he holdeth his tongue is counted wise.....
I would replace the sound. Instead of a gunshot. I would rather hear a oooOOFFFFF. Eye hooks and a tight cable. Neck high and one's down low. I promise someone walking in SHTF at night and hits cable will bellow out a noise in fear, panic or pure pain. lol
Virginia resident, can not find those "209 blank Primers", not even online stores. I even tried a few gun shops/store, nor any sporting/camping supplies.
The problem with the electronic alarms is the batteries go bad as time goes by and they’re sitting in your kit with leaking batteries. Round flat batteries can be expensive to replace sometimes hard to find. You can always scavenge a aluminum can if you had a roll of coins in your kit or approximately 8 to 10 coins if weight is a problem. You can put the pennies inside the can put a piece of duct tape over the opening and rig up the can to fall when someone trips the tripwire. Several cans can be used to cover an area around a tent camp. A simple toggle pulled by a trip wire can make the canned fall to the ground.
Your link to the Fithops alarm has a description for 2x roll of kevlar trip line. Is it for the Fithops alarm and this is just a mistake? Looking to purchase some alarms. Thank you!
I don’t know why I have a multi tool fetish. Maybe because I like things that work and I don’t have an opportunity to see much working properly and efficiently, because I have a regular job. But, some of the multi tools I have, I’m not sure if they make sense. Like a tiny hatchet.
I had my first "multi tool" when it wasn't in fashion and cost me my youngest child. I own better one now so a Philips screwdriver doesn't need to poke me. They are for small jobs , like your Swiss Army knife. without the toothpick..IMO
John Turner I’m so sorry to hear about your child though. I just collect them, when I’ve come across them. Perhaps, they’re like a bit of a unisex tool. Because they’re quite well made, yet small.
You be trippin' man! Could also be used in SHTF if you need to take shelter in an abandoned building like a factory or warehouse, you could alarm the doors to alert you to others seeking the same shelter. If you use multiple eye hooks per alarm, make sure the eye hooks are on the inside of your circle; you want your trip wire to only contact the eye hooks, and not be wrapped around a tree., which causes more friction.
