@@dancingpineapple2854 What are you on about? They slowed down on the actual show and showed she was really reading, even Ellen says it was correct. Trisha even admitted here that she was actually reading but messed up once. Plus, there are other videos of her fast reading, she legit can read super fast.
I find it hilarious that she kept reaching out like anyone would when talking to someone and ELLEN backs up and Trish goes "oh right I shouldn't be touching you" on air ha.
@@keely-lornekirby7370 Actually, during the whole recent ELLEN drama many people on the staff said that if you're low down that you're not supposed to talk or look at ELLEN, and you have to have a breath mint before entering her office lol.
@@Marco_Fabian37 thats apples and oranges. the correct correlation, would be if she called all females somewhere lesbians. but its NOT discriminatory AT. ALL. if they ARE all gay. and lets see- 1) they are all make-up and wardrobe (something that gay guys do- thats not discriminatory against gays, there was *LITERALLY* a show called 'queer eye' about a group of gay guys who do wardrobe and such); 2) they are in L.A. ... yeah, theres no chance they were gay. trisha should be cancelled. smdh. she didnt even mean it as derogatory- she works with gay guys. shes a gay icon in some areas. you are one of the basement-dwelling mouth-breathers, who lost a game of candy crush, and now think you need to take it out on others who are more successful than you. get a fucking life.
@@Marco_Fabian37 you’re straight tripping dog she didn’t even use it as a negative connotation and ur tryna act like she’s homophobic lmao. It was a funny line describing the people in the business and why they didn’t hit on her. Ur weird bro u must get offended by everything.
It makes me laugh how Ellen says “be kind” at the end of her show but then loads of people that met her have said how much of an awful, mean person she is and then apparently she was involved in the Epstein stuff 🤢
@Brèagha that’s exactly how siblings are though 😂 but I do remember him hating her but now I see that they actually respect each other especially when I finished watching the video . A feel good video .
She's duped everyone on a professional level. She plays this bubbly like... slow, dim-witted character, she's actually a lot smarter than she seems at face value.
@@joelavila6659 Exactly like Paris Hilton, yeah. This one girl I went to high school with she played like the ditzy type, like in social situations you'd think there was nothing between her ears at all. But she was still top 10 in a class of just about 450 people. So she wasn't dumb at all, she was just acting that way most likely to not upset "norms" or whatever (which is sad if she believes that society expects her to be dumb). But yeah, I dunno maybe it's just a survival strategy or something.
I think she means she likes watching herself EXCEPT on TV. Probably because on TV she has to change how she acts and follow their rules etc and can't do as she wants like with her own content.
I like Trisha more with every new Frenemies episode. Say/think about her want you want, but you can't deny she has personality. A weird personality maybe, but a personality nonetheless. Imagine how boring the world would be without any loveable weirdos. She's sincere, she's genuinely funny, she's able to laugh and reflect about herself, and even if she throws a massive drama tantrum and storms out, she comes at least back every time and has no problem admitting when she fucked up. I know (or thank God knew to be more precise) lots of people a thousand times worse than Trisha could ever be. All my loveable weirdo friends definetely enrich my life a lot. Sooner or later the name of the show has to be changed to "Besties" or something similar and Ethan has to spend another 30 grand on a new set... ^^
@@thenobalnacho Yea, definetly. Because Ethan gives us the opportunity to see that there's more to her than only drama, or whatever happens on her own channel most of the time. He has in general a soft spot for the people that are oftentimes mocked and/or hated on for being cringe (some more, some less). Trisha is not the only person I changed my opinion about thanks to him.
Ellen humiliated a guest and made her sit on a chair on stage in front of everyone for ‘stealing’ extra promo items they were giving away free. The young African American girl who only took one hat, who they used as a good example had a IMDB account that was taken down when they discovered she was an ACTRESS!! So they actually not only humiliated a guest but they SET HER UP!!!! Easy to do because we all take extra freebies now and then for our loved ones who can’t be at the event. Unless it’s been removed, you can find this video on RU-vid. Just search stealing or shoplifting Ellen. It should come up.
She told Mariah Carey to drink wine so as to be able to tell whether she was pregnant or not (as in, she'd likely drink it if she wasn't and decline it if she was). Carey was pregnant however clearly didn't want to reveal it to... essentially the world... so had a small sip of wine, to which Ellen responded, live, "you *are* pregnant!". Although it almost certainly wasn't caused by the wine, Carey did miscarry a few weeks later - which means that Ellen also made it so that a tragedy Carey may not have wanted to ever share, couldn't not be shared. How maddening... so many women choose to keep the pregnancy rather private, and it's of course their choice. Ellen is cruel and clearly has little respect for others.
I remember her humiliating the guest for taking extra ‘free’ items. It made me look at her differently. Her facial expression when she pointed the guest away really showed her mean side.
@@laur9146 I told my old boss privately that I was pregnant, and told him not to tell anyone until I was 12 weeks (I had issues at the beginning). I had a few days off, and when I came back the entire company knew. I was furious! Who does that to someone? It's just spiteful.
@@lindatannock I'm so sorry to hear that. Some people want to share the news right away and others want to keep it private, especially if they are concerned/worried Even if you hadn't told your boss not to mention it to others, it should have been a given - the fact that you explicitly said for him not to tell, though, and he still told... You're exactly right... how spiteful!
this whole time i thought it was a split screen cause i thought they were sitting apart from each other due to covid, until i saw her nails overstepping into the black side LOLLLL omg... xD
Right it's interesting, I feel like I have a much better understanding of her as a person now so I can excuse some of the off the wall, off putting comments she can make.
Funny thing is, her saying “oh, I’m not supposed to touch you” probably saved her from getting removed from stage. If they had, it would reveal that weird rule to the audience.
ethan is too nice, to her. Wow, that was really wholesome, him telling her that she did really good, and her comedic timing was good and stuff. Like he is right, but like she seems very insecure and hearing encouraging words probably helps i think
I remember trisha on ellen reading on tv, I was legit impressed bc in brazil the show used to be dubbed so they got some actor to read just as fast? It was one of the things that kept me up at night lol
I think I've seen her admit that Nathan was really nice to her but the dude that he set her up with was really creepy. Which wasn't really a surprise to anyone who saw the two episodes he was in. I can't remember where I saw it tho
Intelligence isn't capture using a singular metric. Sure, fast reading is usually indicative of quick cognitive processing abilities, but when you take an intelligence test (like an actual validated intelligence test - not one on Facebook), there are other dimensions, like logic, memory, quantitative reasoning, etc.
This is actually less cringe than the time Ellen had some kid on playing "Through The Fire And The Flames" by Dragonforce on Guitar Hero while the audience just sat there watching him.
@@ismail1546 “they love to get offended” point me in the direction of someone offended by what Trisha said and then there’d be some validity to your statement. Because all I see is people telling black people not to be offended, even though literally no one has voiced them being offended. right now you’re just coming off as an edge lord 🤷🏽♀️🤷🏾♂️🤷🏽♀️
@@ismail1546 “today’s society loves oppression”? Nothing has changed,we just have the internet and things get around quicker. Joan rivers almost lost her career in the 80s over an abortion joke. you think oppression is just “drama” ? “Cancel culture” is not a thing, people like you (fox, conservatives and trump supporters) use it as a means to describe people being held accountable for their actions, nothing more nothing less.
@@ismail1546 who else would be offended?the comment is about a black person and the comment came from Trisha. You can say your “speaking in general” but subject is clearly pointed at that statement. Don’t back track, stand in your “edgelordness” proudly.
I’m legit so proud of her...everyone has quirks, and she is by no means a saint. But she just addressed a very real thing: everyone has an era of themselves. And she looks back on those eras and has grown more than she gets credit for. I adore her.
@@fsn7239 I didn't say it was offensive it's just like say pewdiepie called an african american black he would get called out for it. What I'm saying is people are really sensitive and with me having to know that fact, I was thinking of how others would talk the fact that she said black lady. That's y I had almost the same face. But like I said I laughed because it wasn't offensive other people might think that but not me
when i first saw trisha on youtube years ago my first impression was that i hated her. and i hated her so i would watch her videos to make fun of her. but she slowly grew on me and honestly i feel like this podcast has changed the way people see her for the better. ive been a trish stan for like 3 years now
okay Ethan is so right trish is fucking funny and 100% was underrated during those times the world wasn’t ready for her humor and her incredibly bubbly personality 🙋🏽♀️
Trisha is the legit definition of never giving up on your dream and start from the bottom and climb your way to the top. I admire the energy she has to shamelessly push herself out there to become THE Trisha Paytas she is today.
The love hate relationship I have for Trisha. One side of me feels sorry for all the shit she’s gone through but the next side knows she’s going to make some post about something controversial and I can’t keep backing her up
Idc what anyone says. She has talent and she hustled in a way I respect cause I could never have that much confidence. She did what she had to do and look at her now. Living life with a man who truly makes her happy. Stan Trisha.
I never thought I would like Trisha and Ethan on a podcast together, but wow I love it. Ethan seems to give off big brother vibes, and I love that for Trisha. He’s so protective, it’s wholesome ☺️
Never forget how Ellen pressured Mariah Carey to say she was pregnant by pressuring her to drink wine (and then Mariah was on the spot to explain herself when she ended up having a miscarriage)
I wanna see the original episode but the link just leads to your podcast main page and I can't find it. I've been searching and searching looking for this hairstyle in the thumbnail
This girl is interesting, in the sense of the way she can turn her brain on and off. Then be fully in that moment if only for a while. That's mental dexterity that many people can't achieve!
When you work on a movie set, they give you the same rules about not talking, touching or even looking at the actors (in their eyes) It's not just Ellen.
@@ArtificialPerson It has to do with concentrating, some even do it for protection against any possible allegations someone might make up. Even on breaks you're not allowed to sit near, talk to, ask for photos of the actors on sets if they are walking around. Never had the no eye contact happen but have heard of actors/ singers instructing people not to do it; of course I doubt any talent will own up to that one because...well , it makes you seem like an ahole lol.
Amidst all of the problems these two have had with each other in the past, I’m really happy to see them having a good experience together. Regardless of who’s side you are on you should be able to see that both of these people have been strong enough to come back after their fights. I admire the tenacity, great show!
I can relate to Trisha, when I was a child dealing with traumas and shit, I also used to 'blackout'. I wouldn't remember things I've done or said during stressful moments.
I like how close these two are now considering the issue they had in the past. I am happy for both of them and I love how Ethan is actually being protective of Trisha.
it feels so weird that trisha complains about ethan. and there she says its sad its not the 90ies anymore where you get sexually harrassed at talkshows… i mean: WHAT???
