The thing about Ellen furloughing most of her staff without pay because of COVID really burns me and it just goes to show what a class act Conan O’Brien is compared to her. I read the other day that he paid for his entire staff’s traveling expenses when he and his production company moved from New York to LA, and when he was let go from the Tonight Show (wrongfully I might add) he used the $45 million from NBC’s breach of contract to keep him and his staff afloat for the seven months he was banned from appearing on network TV until he found a new show to host. What a guy.
