Good job!! I'd like to ask, I am about to lay blocks to start something small and increase the pens as they lay eggs and my place is not shady at all. Would that be a good idea?
Is the pen treated before use? The pen looks new. New cement won't kill the snails?. Calcium is gotten from where snail shells?. What of feedings do you feed them. What us the work of base gutter at the pen?. Thank you.👌👍✌🤩

Thank you for watching . The mistake people make is thinking , the bigger the snail the more eggs it can lay . In actuality we have observed that juvenile snails tend to lay more eggs per clutch than bigger snails. Most bigger snails are older snails who lay few to no eggs at all . Most snails brought from wild or bought also do not have a clear age thereby might be too old to lay or too stressed from the travels to lay .
No please some people use non-organic source either than limestone and or marble but opt for other chemical base of carbonate . Risk of buying outside is you are never sure of the ingredients , so use egg shells , snail shells and other naturally verifiable sources .
