Damn. Every time I find myself in a heartbreak situation I end up listening to Cedar&Gold because - best break-up album ever written. I so admire her not just for her singing&songwriting skills and general awesomeness, but also for how she is so brave to share all her pain with us and the world. To be so vulnerable - this is so bold. And who am I after this itty bitty little heartbreak I just had. My pain is a stroll in the park compared to hers.

The opening line grabs me. the rest of the song pulls me in. but the final shot, with the tear in her eye just puts me into a heap on the floor. The accompaniment on piano is perfect. the words (Steven Miller co-write?) true, and that voice, just excellent.

Thank you. This made me cry. I'm almost in the same thing. I was almost 2 years with my first true love and I thought things would end up fine but we had fights about our cultures, families etcetera and one day she blocked me and never talked to me again. I've tried to make her know how much I love her, but she made a scene of it and called the cops after 2 weeks, because I was to clingy. I was so depressed and sad. I trusted her and she knows all my secrets. We were the best lovers, but now we're just strangers. 2 months have now past from the break-up. Now I'm broken, thorn apart and I can't trust anyone. It's better now, but sometimes when I'm alone I lock-up my door, play this song and think about the past and it makes me cry every time I think about her... Every time I started talking about marriage she said that she wasn't ready for it because we were 18. Neither do I know if she is seeing someone. Everyone says: get over her, she's not the one because if she was she would've given you another chance. The truth is I just can't forget about her. Now I wish I hadn't met her in the first place, because of this situation. I guess forever together was something for real lovers, but who am I to say this: I'm just a guy...

I just can't watch this video without bawling. I'm so sorry, Tristan(she's probably well over it by now. lol). When she starts choking up @ 1:40 and can't even keep singing is when I lose it. From then on, just sad feels. I hate my emotions. I don't know what happened and don't point fingers, but by all appearances, Jason threw away something more precious than anything in this world. People are so stupid and short sighted. Props to the pianist, fantastic job.

Breaks my heart everytime...

This is my message in bottle...throwing it into the RU-vid ocean. The story is, I was going to marry a girl named Anna...Our song was actually Tristan's Perfect Storm. Then one day it all seemed to change. I have never been able to wrap my head around the idea that someone could go from marriage to never seeing there person again so quickly..."I don't even know the truth." It has been 5 years and the pain has never even slightly dulled. Each day has been struggle to the just make it by...my former motivations and desires seem almost non important. I'm praying, begging and pleading that I can fix myself to the point where I can feel love again...or that heaven sends an angel into my life...if neither of those are possible I settle for the agony to subside. If anyone finds this bottle... Thanks for reading.

To go from giving all you have to the one you built dreams and plans just for one day see it all fall apart knowing you can't do anything about it. In the end you see her pain, you see Her and with that tear down her eyes it breaks me. Sadly I can relate a little too much now in day's. But that is life, the good and the bad feelings but you know you are alive.

It's a lot of courage to write and sing this song. I can't imagine how many tears she shed to write it... and she stills cries when she sings it... A beautiful honest song... But I can't help and think that there is a lot of bad irony knowing that J.M. is "promoting" love in his tour.

I like both Jason and Tristan's music, but wow this song is really emotional!! It looks like Jason threw something really beautiful away... Obviously they had their reasons to end their relationship and I believe that it's wrong to come up with all sorts of accusations. But one thing is for sure, all their experiences and ups and downs has shaped all their great songs. So just enjoy their fantastic music they've created and wants to share with all of us! :)
