I've got one here in the States. Best buy ever. I'm renovating and 1850's stone farmhouse and use it for making everything from millwork and stair treads to fireplace mantle and flooring from dead Ash on my property that I plank with a chainsaw. GREAT tool. Like your channel too. Good work mates!

Great review ,just as a thought it would be great to see reviews on old power tools ie like the mof 177e and how many still use them like myself, yep I'm old school lol, mine are still going strong after 27 years plus ,in my opinion they can't be beaten I have the two routers mark4 and it's even older mark3 the latter lives in my tablet ! Many thanks keep up the good work 🙂

Would you still recommend this machine after this much time has passed?

At last a tool I own, great plane for the price, superb for oak post work. I’d recommend you get the 750w unlimited rebate plane on too, again as with this product some people may not realise an unlimited rebate plane exists.

This looks a nice affordable option for post & beam framers, potentially. I would be interested to see how it compares to the Mafell Beam Planer range. These tools are 3-4K and obviously brilliant, it would just be good to understand how the Triton stands up in that company. I hadn’t realised they were still going; I still have their ‘Workcentre2000’ set up as a table saw, which is an ok bit of kit.

I think the Mafell ones that cost about 4000 are 12 inch.

Eggh supposedly they're the who's who of routers because of features that everyone has now. Except fixed bases Triton doesn't have them.

Yeah but will she round and straighten out chair leg billets? If so how much do you have to skew that long sole

I know this was 2 years ago sorry, can you remember how loud it was? I cant tell from Robers demonstration being outside, could it be used in residential workshop without disturbing an entire neighbourhood? I tried makita and parkside 80mm, both were too loud even with ear protection.

It is loud, I don't think there is any way around it.

@@SkillBuilder yeah I guess, nature of the machine, may have to invest in couple of hand planes instead... Cheers.

Hey guys. Can you put some pressure on HIKOKI to release the 36v multivolt table saw over here. They do it as the Metabo HPT range, all they have to do is replace the stickers. If you havent seen it check it out. We need it over here asap.

Wow never knew this existed. Always had my eye the 312mm hand held Makita planer. Can't justify spending £1.5k on it though. This triton planer looks the business doesn't it And it's only £230 ☺

I've searched and searched. Jow on earth do I get it to.my doorstep?! Someone on RU-vid said Amazon, but I've looked at the American AND the uk, and neither had it. I have found it on scam sites, and I real site that has tons of Better Business Bureau complaints. I want it, can't find it.

Great planer with only one issue. If you sell a machine like this for over $350 in Canada - at least include dust fittings that actually work with North American dust extractors. I have about a dozen fittings and 5 hoses and nothing fits the dust port or port adapter that came with the plane.😠
