I never thought I'd see one of those in that great of condition. Very Nice!!! My brother had 2 1968 GT6's back in 1975. At the time my parents had a 1964 XKE 3.8L coup. The GT6 was like a mini XKE, light and fast, not as fast as the Jag but pretty fast. I had a 1958 MGA 1500 back then and compared to the GT6 it was a slouch LOL. Both of my brother's GT6's had spoked wheels, are the wheels on yours original?
They were thought of as the ‘poor man’s E Type’ Spitfires have a nasty tendency to go straight on when cornering fast but I guess that’s not an issue for you guys?
Bear in mind, lotus use the Triumph front suspension. Do you think an Etype or Vintage Aston Martin of the period go around corners better, than a GT6?
@@savagedick1462 it’s just insane how much he says the word “original.” Like I would have bought it the second or third time, but he keeps saying again and again, and as he keeps saying it, I’m like, yeah, but the respray? That’s not supposed to be blue, that’s not supposed to be blue, that’s clearly been replaced, those wheels were never original, that chrome fender well trim isn’t original. It’s almost a joke at this point. Like when someone is trying to lie to you, so they reenforce the lie with repetition. The car is a beauty. An excellent example of a GT6 that you can actually drive and have fun in… …but original. Original! Original. 😆
