Bill, you’ve created the most perfect family adventure I’ve seen on motorcycling. Congrats to Kim on the win, she did awesome. You deserve a big double thumbs up for finishing minus one foot peg too. All in all, you’ve provided your viewers with an adventure most of us can only dream about. Keep up the great work. Grandpa’s probably beaming with pride, grandma too.
Bill it doesn’t get much better than that!! The family together, the bikes a little beat up but running & Kimmi taking home the gold plus the memories the kids will remember for the rest of their lives! Totally bad ass!👍
You all are too dang cool!! At least you finished the race and you have to be so proud of your wife for winning her class!! Thanks for another fantastic video!!!
What a cool adventure! I was giggling insanely along with Kim as she went down that wash with no front brake! We've all been there! Best thing in those situations is to laugh and keep on keepin on! Thanks, y'all! Gonna ride my 67 T100 off road this weekend!
Man, what a family adventure! And you handled all the obstacles with grace and humility. Congrats to you both for the efforts in sharing this with the motorbike community! Bless you both and your boys!
So Cool! Best YT video of the day bar none! I started racing in 1972 so I have a real feeling for what its like to race these old things. Keeping a Triumph running for a desert race is pretty damned neat. Kim is a hot rod chick! Doing so well on an old bike on a rocky sandy trail! Really good!
Congrats to both of you, you're both troopers man, right from the start that morning getting there, your smiles and enthusiasm says it all, thanks for posting your trip.... cheers 🍻
If I was closer I would've loved to been there, I'm a retiree in Ontario Canada, been riding for 51 year's, and still riding and drag racing a 99 Sportster, I'd give that biltwell a go for sure, your channel is great man, and , my hat is off to your wife for what she did, going down that steep grade, watching a bike go down but still focused, great job all around to you and your family
This is my absolute favourite channel on youtube, I look forward to the videos every week. Especially when it's raining here in old blighty! 🇬🇧 - Cheers Bill!
Wow! That was an epic adventure! Congrats to your wife on an amazing race, she crushed it! You're the man for finishing that race with one foot-peg!! Jeez LOL. You're livin' the dream my friend!
What a Great way to have the whole family involved in a Desert racing , kids as well. something for them to remember when they are old, your wife rode like pro . I think you have your work cut out for you now Bill, Thanks for posting the whole event , look forward to watching the next race, KIWI
Thanks Bill and Kim, on a day short of smiles, your video gave me a great big smile ! Well done for a great set of results despite all the hardships !!
BEST VIDEO ... EVER ! SUBSCRIBED, NOW ! Really miss my old Triumph .... sigh, ..... so back to work on my vintage Bultaco, anyway . You folks really made my day with this video !!!
Cheers! 🍻🏍️🏁 Pura vida! ✌️😎🇨🇷
You guys are so rad! And Kim is a badass!!! It’s really a bummer about the peg but you toughed it out like a champ! Well done my friend. I may have to get an old bike now. You guys are having way to much fun.
Looks awesome the enthusiasm you both show for riding heavy short travel bikes in the desert is inspiring. It is too bad that what used to be twisting narrow trails through the sagebrush have been blown out into straight wide roads by Utv's and Atv's. Still plenty of bumps and sand to keep you on your toes though. Perhaps a snow plow for the atv to keep your driveway open. The heater had me green with envy, l remember freezing at night in that same area you were in the night before a race. Climbing into a sleeping bag in the cab of a Datsun with all of your clothes on and still shivering. Great job on the race and the video.
Very cool, my wife said we need to do stuff like that and I said you want to race my 69 OSSA 250? That's a big no she said. I guess will stick to hanging out on the mountain. Looked like great family fun! The videos are inspiring Bill Thanks.
Man your wife did great. And it's awesome how supportive and happy you were for her race. I think I have some photos of your bike from 2023. I was suppose to do the Biltwell this year, had my ticket and everything, but my top end had to be rebuilt and then I didn't have the money to ride across the US. The previous year I had broken my ankle in Mexico resulting in surgery there, so I opted to just spectate the race. 0/2 so far, but maybe next year!
For some reason it makes me happy when there is interaction between two channels that I follow. 🙂 When I was 16 I wanted a Sports Cub, 56 years later I'm riding a Scrambler 1200 here in the UK, and I can watch YT videos that feature both bikes!
@@rickmancr Hopefully next year I can do it on my 1200. But when I spectated last year, I was so impressed with how many vintage bikes, and Harley Sportsters that were racing. Owning a Vintage Triumph of Husqvarna is definitely a goal, doing a race would be a blast!
Makes my day! Just back from a ride out on my Triumph (wish we had some desert here in the UK) and finish the afternoon with a beer watching You guys having a fab weekend. You have a truly blessed family there Bill. 👍
I like the part where the guy just kind of went legs out and ditched it down the big hill and Kim just rode right by him.. poor fellow could’ve been hurt 😢😂
Fantastic! You carried on with the right attitude and made it a family adventure. Life long memories for all of you and especially for the boys since they will have videos that remind them how much fun you had as they were growing up. Congrats on the finishing results too. Much better than a DNF. Now I want to see the postmortem of the failed footpeg and what you are going to do to make sure it never happens again. And a similar look at the right side. I've been a subscriber from the beginning and one of these days I will buy a shirt. Really, I will!
Absolutely brilliant. You've made some good memories there. And well done to Kim x. Oh No No No You got this. You Got it You Got it. You certainly did get it right. Well done. Bill did you get some 'Horse Liniment' on the way back home?
Life don’t get better then that….apart from keys locked away but you look back and laugh, trust me I dug underneath my parents car on a beach till it dropped to the back axle…😂
